It was all fantastic. Comfy rooms, beautiful natural setting and Landscaping. Good food at the restaurant. Good friendly service. Very serene environment. There's not much else to say but it seems I can't post this until the review hits a minimum number of characters. ???

This place felt truly magical. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms, while sparse, were clean and spacious. While I really loved the location, there were a few things I wasn't completely happy with. Our room had two double beds, and as a married couple we expected to share a queen or king. The room had no built-in heat, only a small and loud, but efficient space heater. We finally got out of bed and turned it off when it got too hot and loud. The beds were very firm, and even though we use a firm mattress at home, we both found the surface uncomfortable and we didn't sleep well either night. But the restaurant staff was gracious and the food was wonderful. Even though we had no other choice of a place to eat, we'd have chosen to eat there anyway. They fixed a bag breakfast for those on our early tour since the kitchen wasn't open at our pickup time. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the things mentioned above, and we may have felt differently in another room. The internet connection was quite good too.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. First our driver could not find it because it was out of the way, far down a dirt road, far from the main avenue. Absolutely nothing in walking distance. Our driver passed it twice. He had to call to get directions. Rooms are outside. There is no heat or air conditioning. The rooms are old. Needs updating. A physical key, not digital. Wifi goes in and out.

I was on an organised tour of Peru so only stayed here for two nights. I really wish it had been much, much longer. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. I appreciated the labels which identified the various plants. The breakfast was the best I had on the tour. The restaurant was fabulous. There were vegan options. I chose the sandwich both nights because it was so filling and so delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to stay.

I loved all of It, comfy and cozy rooms, Perfect deco, delicious food. Personell were friendly and polite. Perhaps the towels Can be bigger and the lights in the rooms Can have Better Lightning. The Gardens are very well kept, the herb patch was nicely labelled and the yoga room was inviting, perfect size celan mats

PROS: We stayed here 2 nights as part of Exoticca group tour; one of my favorite place to stay. Safe. Gated. Private. Beautiful setting. Very homey and relaxing atmosphere. Pretty walkway/garden with fragrant blooms & herbs. Spacious room, clean and comfy. Nice smelling toiletries provided. CONS: I would like to give it a 5star but.... No hot water in shower! No fan provided in room; only portable heater. Beautiful restaurant but serves lackluster breakfast. Spotty wifi. TV has no english channels.

If you are planning a trip to Machu Picchu, do yourself a favor and stay here. The place is magical, beautiful and wonderful all wrapped up in a boutique hotel. From the local cuisine with onsite sourced ingredients, to the alpaca on site; You won’t want to leave.

A delightful and secluded hotel. Lots of lovely honey touches and beautiful flowers all around the grounds. Staff was very helpful. Nice menu at restaurant and delicious food. Gave us a take away breakfast for our last day since we left super early. Quiet room and comfy beds.

From the moment we arrived I loved this simple,but beautiful hotel. I think most of the group I travelled with felt, like me, that this was their favourite hotel during our tour. The bedrooms are simple and rustic, but have every facility. They are ranged round lovely, colourful gardens with a large green space in the middle. There is a very pleasant restaurant with a bar and a verandah outside. The setting is extremely quiet and peaceful, but anyone wanting to use the facilities in Urubamba would need to take a taxi. I was more than happy to eat in the hotel restaurant where I had an excellent burger and delicious quinoa soup. Breakfast was also very nice, with fresh local bread available. There is a charming local lady on site, accompanied by her baby alpaca, selling various handmade items. She kindly explained all the symbolism on the woven friendship bracelets she makes. I really enjoyed my chats with her. I found the hotel staff helpful and pleasant too.
