Palazzo Giusti Suites and Spa

Palazzo Giusti was an excellent base to explore Urbino, very central. Large and beautifully furnished rooms in a historical palazzo plus the spa that combines the refinement of the setting with great treatements, all restored and equipped with a lot of taste. Super clean. Room facilitites, toiletries, mini bar etc, all of top quality. Staff very helpful. While breakfast is to be taken in a Caffe a few meters away, I (not a fan of hotel meals in general) actually found this rather pleasant on a sunny May morning. Absolutely loved the setting and the spa (invoiced separately) turned out to be a great idea after a long drive on the arrival day.

Impressive renovation of an ancient palazzo right in the middle of this charming town. Our room was sleekly modern, large, and comfortable. Others are more traditional. Breakfast was at a lively cafe on the central square just a few steps away and popular for students before class and at break times. There was some pedestrian noise but we enjoyed feeling part of the bustle.

It was a rare experience to stay in such a beautiful historic structure with a state-of-the-art interior. In this ideal location, touches of old world beauty remain in the frescoed ceilings and substantial woodcraft, thoughtfully integrated with a very comfortable bed and spacious bath. Many thanks to the kind and super-helpful staff for providing important travel tips and dinner reservations. We were also delighted with the generous breakfast offered at Caffe Basili, a friendly place down the street with indoor/outdoor seating. We would gladly return to Palazzo Giusti and we highly recommend.

I love a modern aesthetic, and from the pictures, this place looked very unique. However, our enormous room was lacking in even the most basic amenities. Not even a box of tissue. I found the room to be modern but cold. And it was very noisy at night. The staff was nice although not often available. The location was excellent. For breakfast, they simply gave us a note on a business card and had us walk down to the local bakery (I think they are working on building a restaurant but it wasn't ready when we were there). I can't speak to the spa as we did not have time to check it out. All in all this hotel was lacking for me. If going back to Urbino, I'd likely stay elsewhere.

The hotel is right in the center of Urbino which is an incredible location to explore for a weekend. In terms of feedback for this hotel. Firstly, what an incredible job of refurbishing this building. The design and aesthetics are to be commended. It creates a stylish vibe. The beds are super comfy and lots of nice touches. However, we were in a room on the first floor corner, which meant we had a LOT of street noise. And when I say a LOT, I mean a LOT. Both nights sleep was short as the noise outside goes on until the early hours, only to be replaced by street cleaners. I checked out feeling exhausted and drained - not what I wanted or expected for a weekend in a small historic town (and the 1030am checkout time seems unreasonably early). Perhaps they have rooms higher up and away from the noise which would have been better.

La suite che ci ha accolti era fornita di tutto il necessario e curata nei minimi dettagli. Ho letto che la posizione di alcune stanze poteva essere scomoda dati i rumori sulla strada, fortunatamente in bagno era presente anche un kit a testa di tappi per le orecchie, che poteva tornare utile; anche se, ammetto di non essere capitata in un periodo eccessivamente caotico, infatti non ho avuto alcun problema. Anche la spa era meravigliosa e molto ben studiata in base agli spazi a disposizione: vale la pena provarla. Ho trovato geniale l’idea di mettere a disposizione dei clienti un mini kit di frutta secca, rispetto alle altre spa dove spesso lasciano la frutta secca in una ciotola generica. La colazione era inclusa nel nostro pacchetto, in un bar a due passi dalla struttura. Anche qui abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo il fatto che non ci fossero vincoli in merito all’ ordinazione (ciascuno poteva ordinare ciò che più preferiva) Rifarei questa esperienza e la consiglio a chi ne ha la possibilità :)
