Emily made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the Sir John Barrow Monument. We could ask for a room clean at any point during our stay. Our room was a double with a view. It had a panel controlled thermostat, a nice sized TV, and tea and coffee station (refills were always available). There are lifts to the upper floor or stairs, and parking was always available with some undercover too (for those wetter days). We had booked in for 3 nights, including breakfast. When it came to dinner, the staff were happy to upgrade us to include our evening meal as well. The food was always well cooked and presented. Thank you to Emma, Mike, and Helen, and the menu had some very tasty options. It was really lovely to chat with the hotel staff, all of whom were really friendly and happy to accommodate any of our requests. Emily would always enquire as to where we had been that day. It was a fantastic opportunity to revisit our day trips. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it. Our request was easily accommodated, which was awesome. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay an enjoyable and memorable one! We will hopefully see you again.

We had a wonderful welcome by the staff in Ulverston! We were late arriving due to a very bad accident but they still made sure we all had a lovely dinner and a drink. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable as always. Breakfast was fantastic and plenty for everyone. Which is commendable with a large group as we were. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were very friendly. I have to mention David Blackburn esp as he did all he could and made sure we were cared for. He even brought his son to the concert in Barrow. The choir sang for the staff on the way out and we were waved off by all staff!

Went with a choir of 80+ people, choristers and their wives. Very friendly staff and good organisation on arrival. Very clean and comfortable room. David was especially attentive & went above & beyond to help. He also came to support us at one of our concerts

Spend four great days at the Premier Inn Ulverston with a large choir group. The location is nice, right next to the Ulverston canal with a gorgeous 1.5 mile walk down to the coast and a coffee at the pub by the lock gates. And then a stroll back into a nice market town and a visit to the Laurel and Hardy museum. The staff at the hotel were fantastic - very friendly and accommodating, some even came to one of our concerts. Lovely people. The hotel itself is also very clean and comfortable. Can’t rate our stay highly enough, fabulous.

Great effort by David and his staff who provided a meal for our 100 strong choir after our buses were delayed following an accident en route to the hotel. Room was clean, all amenities provided and breakfast was terrific, well done David and staff 😊
