Newer going back. Arrived late, got the key in the key box. Towels werent clean, found one that was clean. Shampoo in the shower was open, same with the soap for hands. Thought they had forgotton to change the towels. Went to bed. Next morning I found a sock in between the maddrasses. Not my own. Turns out that the room had not been cleaned and that I had slept in sheets that someone else had slept in. They would only refund the first night, not my second night even thought I was not going to come back for the second night.

Unless you like to hear the loud and constant airplane noises stay away from this hotel. Ang if you politely ask for a room change the staff will reply to you in a rude manner: “The hotel is old and the airport is near, so all rooms are the same! Don’t you have an hear plugs?!”

I have stayed at Uithoorn, Het Rechthuis, 24/06/2024, Booking ID: 431647695. On the evening of 24/06, I found the air conditioner working upon arrival and the room temperature was fine. Same story on the second day. On the third day I arrived at 22:00 hours and the air conditioner had been switched OFF by the hotel staff. I switched it ON. The airflow from the air conditioner at maximum fan speed was near zero. Therefor, it took until 03:00 o'clock for the room to be reasonably cool again. Hence, I slept only 4 hours that night. I have sent a written complaint and management has not reacted. I have spoken with the manager, Mrs. Sylvia Tieken just before departure and she is of the opinion that air conditioners should be switched OFF during daytime to save electricity costs. Guests are not notified about this. Note: I have no problem with energy saving during daytime but then the air conditioner should have the room at acceptable temperature in a short time so one can sleep. That was reason number one to go to a hotel.

It is more like a 3 stars hotel and I am generous when I say it. It is outdated. When someone walked in the near room or in the one on top, everything started to squeak and crack like in a ******* mansion in horror movies. The bathroom although it is normal sized, it lacks any furniture or some kind of support to put your cosmetics on. The sink was cracked. Lovely location though and free parking.

Great hotel and location of this beautiful hotel. My partner and I enjoyed our 4 nights at the hotel and location. We enjoyed the relaxation of the location of the hotel, escape the too busy chaos of Amsterdam central. The only suggestion is that the menu for the restaurant should be available in all languages. We enjoyed our lovely breakfast and there was a few friendly staff.

This place is the old law court, converted into a hotel in 2003. We stayed overnight, had dinner there and then breakfast. Staff are charming and obliging. Small housekeeping issues were dealt with well. This is a very popular place to eat. Dinner was good although some dishes felt ill-balance, particularly insufficient vegetables. Breakfast was fine, offering a typical Dutch buffet

I really loved the view from my room (#1) and the room was spacious. I did not however find the room very clean. They need to get after the housekeeping staff. The room was very dusty and needs to be thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned. The windows, the trim, behind the night tables etc. The TV did not work and the staff kept bringing the wrong size pucks for the coffee maker. When I asked, they didn’t understand so I went and found some in the hallway. They also said they didn’t have Shampoo, but again I found some on my own. Their staff need proper training. I did not have dinner there but I did have some drinks on the patio with some friends and that was lovely. It is a very nice old building in a pretty location but there were definitely some deficiencies.

Oordeel super fijn hotel restaurant met mooi terras aan de Amstel. Sfeervol restaurant. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk gegeten. Kamer eenvoudig/ wat ouderwets, ruim een heel schoon. Ruime badkamer. Douchen in bad maar wel in een bad met vlakke bodem zodat je goed onder de douche kon staan. We hebben hier overnacht voor we naar Schiphol gingen en is een aanrader. Gratis parkeerplaatsen en openbare laadpaal voor de deur.
