LIKED The receptionist (Victoria) was outstanding. Very helpful and friendly. Nice inner courtyard area with good WiFi Rooftop ‘dipping pool’ to cool down - small area but attractive with 6 deckchairs. OK Continental Breakfast but same every day and have to keep asking for butter and jam to go with the croissants ! Paid parking 2mins away. Hotel is located at the top of the Main Street so 10-12mins to historic square. DISLIKED The Courtyard area has a fountain which was leaking water all around its base. I slipped and hurt myself and the fountain was STILL not turned off or drained. A complete health and safety hazard. We stayed in Room 4 (standard Double) but the terrace area (stripy sofa and tree) was dirty & full of midges, the WiFi was non existent but on the bright side, it was cool! We were offered room 6, one of the Double Duplex Rooms, beautifully laid out but at this time of year (June) being at the top of the building - it was way too hot (even with AC). Also there was a gap in the curtains directly opposite the bed!

Lovely hotel situated in the centre of the old town Ubeda . We went for the deluxe room and it was lovely with its own courtyard area with sofa and table. Hotel was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. I gave 4 stars for two reasons- lack of information in the hotel about the hotel and the area and despite the breakfast being good it was exactly the same each morning served to your table and you have to ask if you want butter and jam with the croissants! Overall would recommend this hotel.

Located in Don Juan Street near the main square this was a well located hotel. The rooms we well equipped although the internet was a little off at times. Overall a very good experience and recommended if visiting Ubeda

This is a quirky hotel with the feel of a grand home rather than a hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast is the best we had in three weeks travelling in Spain. There is parking under the square a couple of minutes walk away, and the (fabulous) old town is a few minutes walk away.

What a lovely welcoming small hotel. It appears that this hotel is run by a small number of ladies who look after the reception, serve breakfast and service the rooms. I only wish we had asked the name of the lady who we met on arrival as she was so very friendly and helpful, we managed to communicate well despite our Spanish being just enough to get us by. The hotel itself was very clean and very boutique in nature. The bedroom we had was perfect and had a very comfy bed. We had to ask how to use the safe in the room but this was soon resolved. Breakfast was served to you, no choice of items but we were served with plenty to set us up for the day ( this included fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, croissant and juice) Perfect location to explore the sites of Ubeda and close to the underground car park. The reception is not attended all the time because of how the hotel appears to be run, however, the entrance is very secure We would definitely stay again

Excellent , quirky hotel.Renovated to a high standard without losing it's original charm.Kind friendly staff and a very decent breakfast.Plunge pool on the roof refreshingly welcome from the heat outside.Would definitely return here.

La habitación excelente, muy limpia y espaciona y la cama muy grande y muy confortable al igual que las almohadas y el personal con una atención excelente. Queremos destacar la recibida por Rocío a nuestra llegada. El desayuno muy abundante.pero echamos en falta un zumo de naranja natural

Para nosotros ha sido fantástico. Empezando por la decoración,precioso todo. Las camas formidables,supercomodas. Mucha limpieza en todo el establecimiento. La atención del personal igual de fantástica,super simpáticas y muy atentas a todo lo que hiciera falta . El desayuno fantástico,te sirven en mesa y hay casi de todo,Perfecto. La piscina es pequeña pero suficiente para refrescarte y al ser un hotel con 16 habitaciones tampoco hay aglomeración de personas. No tenemos ninguna pega,evidentemente al ser un hotel céntrico en un casco antiguo la calle es estrecha y no hay espacio para aparcar,pero es comprensible . Es una de las mejores estancias que hemos tenido en todos nuestros viajes Sin duda alguna repetiremos
