Turtle Island resort is a beautiful and unique private island. What made it truly special was how personalized everything was. From private excursions to cultural experiences, it felt like the whole trip was designed just for us. The staff were amazing - so warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing their culture - and they treated us like family from the moment we arrived. We didn’t just visit Fiji, we experienced it. Can’t wait to come back!

From the time we arrived til the time we departed it was perfect. The staff is the best I’ve ever experienced. Every detail was taken care of. Kindness and love throughout. Smiles, singing, hugs, dancing, and kava brings the guest and staff together as one FAMILY. Our bure and papa Tommy made each day a delight. My husband and I are divers, which we got to go 4 days. Outstanding reef colors. Usually after diving we would go to our own private beach with a picnic lunch that was outstanding. Cocktail and appetizers before dinner brought the family together again. Dinner was always perfect, whether it was by yourselves, (on the pontoon, dock table or in your bure) or with the family. Each night, except Sunday we sat with the staff and had Kava. Family, love, kindness. Plus, the spa massages were perfect. Everything was perfect. We are going back!

This is a once in a lifetime experience. The service is the best in the world. the connection with your partner will be the best ever. If you have a chance to visit this place then you will come back better. Private beaches are what you want then you have found the place.

My wife and I have just spent an amzing week on Turtle Island, Fiji. It was a celebration for our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we wanted something very special. Turtle Island exceeded our expectations. From the arrival on the sea plane to a spotless beach with the staff welcoming us home, to our bure which was fantastic. Mama Laite was our bure Mama, and looked after us so well, she organised our week for us and went to extreme to decorate our bure and bed with flowers and messages every night. The week was filled with fun and laughter, meeting amazing people and sharing wonderful meals with other guests. We had a picnic everyday on our private beach, the beaches were so beautiful and private. The food was excellent and well presented and so fresh. an excellent choice of wines was available. The staff made sure that we were well looked after, always so happy and nothing was too much trouble. Every night there was some entertainment and inter action with the staff and other guests. Great fun. Bale and Bill were wonderful in organising the week and one of them would share each meal with all the guests and enterain us with stories about the Island and Fiji. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will return. Thank you Turtle Island

What a beautiful island with the most fantastic people! Both the staff and guests make the experience truly special. The food and entertainment were both memorable. The people on the island truly feel like family by the end of your trip!! We look forward to going back in the near future!

Very rarely do you get to say that the people are the highlight of your vacation. Many of us take trips in order to go somewhere else, to see something historical or naturally beautiful, but on Turtle Island, it was the people that were the highlight. The whole staff made this experience refreshing, fun, and memorable. There are so many of the staff that I can still see smiling in my memories and I hope they can still remember me smiling too. Memories are better when they're shared, and it was great to make memories that are shared between the staff, other guests, and my loved ones forever.

This was our third trip to Turtle Island, and once again it was amazing. Turtle is so much more than beautiful beaches. From the moment you arrive on the island you are treated like beloved family coming home. The graciousness and love shown by the entire Turtle staff is genuine, and their service is 5-star. I would recommend Turtle to any couple wishing to not only have a unbelievable beach vacation, but to have a full on Fijian experience.

Our stay at Turtle Island was wonderful - what a welcoming island paradise. The staff are truly amazing and made every effort to ensure our time on the island was both relaxing and enjoyable. Their kind and fun-loving spirit was infectious, helping to make each day more special than the next. Every day they went above and beyond to make certain the guests were well cared for and our daily activities carefully scheduled. A few special shout outs are well deserved. Mere's enthusiasm and joy put a smile on our faces every day. Bill's hospitality and attention to detail kept us organized and well informed. Grace and Sue kept us well fed and showed such wonderful island hospitality in ways big and small. Nikki kept us happy with cocktails and laughter. Maika was a great fishing guide and an even better person to spend time on the water with. Mama L, your caring and fun-loving spirit are 2nd to none - already miss your laugh. So many more I could mention.... The island and beaches are gorgeous, but the staff are the secret ingredient to the success of this special place. Words don't do it justice. This is a must visit destination for a honeymoon or wedding anniversary. My husband and I visited for our honeymoon. It was such an amazing experience, we booked to return for our 5 year anniversary. Every aspect of this trip was 5/5 stars.
