Long Beach Alanya - Ultra All Inclusive

Long Beach has brilliant facilities for families and children Sofa from the animation team runs a fab aqua gym in the infinity pool and Zumba in the afternoon. Rooms are spacious and clean. The snack bar and pool is the best place for lunch as it’s quieter than the buffet restaurant. The only downside is the main buffet restaurant gets very very busy for the evening meal and could do with more fresh meals cooked during the night as food goes in the trays.

Been a great experience, hotel/room great, lovely staff, just would like more variety of food but think this was due to the time we came! We liked the pools some of them were heated. The hotel had in evening shows it was great. We would recommend this hotel but next time in the summer season.

5 out of 5 easy, what an amazing place, from getting into the complex to leaving a great experience, the rooms and the whole complex are very clean and tidy with cleaning just continually carried out by the cleaning team they get 10 out of 10 for hygiene from me, all food areas clean and very well presented with a very good selection for all grownups and children,one of the good points is they do breakfast from 7 am till 9 am then a late breakfast from 10 am till 11 am and there are little food outlets all over the complex with all kinds of food like pizza /chicken burgers / chips / chilled fruit / and a beach side BBQ from noon, there are ice lollies and ice cream units placed at each food outlet too, big bonus for the kids and adults alike!, as much as the main pool is busy and fills up quick the fact you can chose from 13 different pools means you will always find somewhere for the family to set up for the day, the waterslide park on the beach is so much fun and you don't have to wait over a minute when you get to the slide you want as there are so many, I would recommend this place to any one looking for a family holiday tere is evening entertainment on for the kids and the grownups, one of the plusses for me was that not one of the service staff gave any inclination that a tip was expected, however knowing that these guys do use tips to make up their income we were more than happy to tip for the service we recived as everyone baring one of the staff we met was so pleasant to deal with, the guest relation team were also very nice to deal with referring to all guests as the longbeach family they realy can't do enough for you WITH A GREAT BIG SMILE We had a meal at the Italian alacarte, which was for the wife's birthday, which the guest relations helped to arrange. we got balloons with a balloon banner over the table and a birthday cake and staff singing happy birthday as the cake was brought out, all the staff on complex really know how to treat the guests and to help them enjoy their holiday, the one negative was the fact you can't get change anywhere, we obviously took money for tips but the majority was in 20 euro notes from the travel agent, as much as the staff deserved good tips 20 Euro each time adds up so we stuck to 5 euros for the pool bars and room service and 10 for evening meals and anyone who impressed us with their attitude and service, and there was a few of them throughout the week we were there We are going back without a doubt, but it may not be next year, but its a definite revisit for us

We have just returned from an 7 night holiday so thought its worth a review from a family of 4 , (2 adults and 2 kids ages 10 and. 16. ) We travelled with Jet2 but used private transfer from Airport and back. It Was about 1,5h. . It’s very large hotel with plenty of activities and pools to choose from. The area is beautiful with lots of green and all looks very nice and holiday mood. Unfortunately since the hotel has such a large area, it was difficult to take advantage of everything. Every day we ended up doing over 10,000 steps. The activities and information about what’s going on at hotel was not great advertised so I feel like we missed a lot because simply didn’t know about it. We paid for some activities such as zip line,( €20) tree trekking (€20) and kids loved these. Quite expensive though. We also used the free waterpark and fun fair. Some ice creams and popcorn, potato swirl at the stalls you have to pay for (€5 ) Despite the large number of pools, we mostly used the ones on the hotel side, as they had cooler fresh water. The pools on the beach side were filled with salty water and were much warmer, so my children didn’t want to swim in them. Unfortunately, a big downside was the pools with slides. During our 7-day stay, they were closed 4 times due to contamination. What disappointed me most was that reopening them took the whole day – the hotel should be better prepared to deal with such situations quickly, especially since it happened almost every day. Queues to the bar were not too bad during the day. In the evening it was more people and it depends on the bar area. The cocktails were not great and no real effort made with them. Local alcohol and not so great. CUSTOMER SERVICE- disappointing I was very disappointed with the service. Only a few staff members were kind and helpful, while most of them seemed unwilling to assist and behaved as if they were forced to be there. Their attitude was unfriendly and often dismissive. Because I do not speak their language, I also had the uncomfortable impression that they were talking about me behind my back, accompanied by unpleasant looks and expressions. This made me feel unwelcome and very uncomfortable during my visit. We booked a superior land view room. The room was one double bed and two singles. The room was cleaned every day, although “cleaned” might be an overstatement. The service was limited to making the beds, changing the towels, and taking out the trash – nothing more. At the beginning, we left tips for a few days, but since the staff didn’t show much effort, we eventually stopped. BIGGEST LET DOWN - FOOD And this is the biggest let down at this hotel. We read lots of reviews of people getting sick at the hotel. We never experienced this but the food was very repetitive and not that great quality. Just very basic all inclusive. ⭐️⭐️ 2/5 Very disappointing return visit – this hotel has gone downhill badly I stayed at this hotel two years ago and had a brilliant experience, which is why I decided to come back this year. Unfortunately, things have changed massively, and not for the better. Check-in / Room issue When I arrived to check in, I had booked and paid for a duplex room. However, the receptionist tried to give me a different type of room instead, telling me that a duplex “might be dangerous for kids.” My children are 14 and 8, so this excuse didn’t make any sense. On top of that, the duplex has a baby gate fitted, so clearly it is designed with children in mind. I was left confused as to why they even tried to say it wasn’t suitable. Only after I refused to accept another room and insisted on the duplex I booked did they finally give me the room I had paid for. Room quality Once inside, the room was a big letdown. Both fridges were switched on but not cold at all. Even worse, one of them had an open Pepsi can left behind from a previous guest. That shows the room wasn’t properly cleaned before our arrival. During my entire 10-day stay, the fridges were never stocked with drinks at any point. Two years ago, this was included and even other hotels I’ve stayed in always provided drinks — but not here anymore. Food & Service The service was very poor throughout. On the first night at dinner, after struggling to even get a table, I asked a staff member for drinks. I gave him my order, but he never came back. A similar thing happened by the pool — a worker came over and asked me what I’d like to drink, I placed my order, but once again nobody returned with anything. This happened more than once and really showed how unreliable and unorganised the service had become. I also noticed a serious lack of hygiene. Tables were not being cleaned properly — staff would do a quick wipe and then I actually saw them checking cutlery to see if it looked used or not and then placing it back on the table instead of changing it. That was shocking to see and made me question how clean anything really was. Health issues For the first time in all my stays here, I ended up very sick. I suffered with terrible belly pains and diarrhoea during the holiday. It got so bad that I had to go to a pharmacy to buy pills just to manage the pain and try to recover. Even now, after leaving the hotel, I am still not fully better. This alone made the whole stay miserable and I can’t help but connect it to the poor hygiene standards I witnessed. Staff attitude The overall atmosphere from the staff was also very different compared to two years ago. Back then, staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. This year, almost everyone seemed grumpy, uninterested, and as if they didn’t even want to be there. It gave off a very unwelcoming vibe throughout the hotel, which made the holiday less enjoyable. Just got home and had a great time. 2 adults and 1 child (6). Plenty to do for the young one as it is a massive resort. Unfortunately was not told a thing about what our wristbands got us, we were given a red wrist band and that was it. The main all inclusive restaurant we did not think the food was very good. Snack bars during the day though had nice food to keep you going. When we eventually found out the red wrist bands got us into the villa restaurant our food experience vastly improved. You can also book one a la carte restaurant if you are on a 7 night stay- any additional a la carte requests will be costed at 20 euro per adult and 10 euro per child. Do think on arrival you should be told what each wrist band entails etc. Hotel very clean and well maintained- pools great, we found for small children the small kids splash zone with slides at the far left of the resort was the best place during the day. A lot quieter and cooler pools also with a larger pool right next to it. If you have young children I would keep and eye on them and do not put your trust in the lifeguards on-site. We found every pool we went to they were on their phones and basically not paying any attention whatsoever. Also do your research on the transfer times if getting on a coach- we had heard horror stories of 3/3.5 hour transfer times- we booked private transfers each way which take approximately 1hr 30. We would also recommend heading to Hisar Restaurant in Alanya itself- message them on Facebook they will pick you up and drop you back off at your hotel- perfect food and views over Alanya you won’t find anywhere else, highly recommend.
