You will be surrounded by wilderness and wake up to a seasonal pond and creek and the perfect view of Tuolumne county wildlife. The house is magical inside and out, built with love with material from the property as well as lovely reclaimed windows and floors. Sit outside at night under the Milky Way, watching shooting stars and listening to toads in the pond.
A place to get away for a retreat from our fast paced world. We have very strong wifi, cell coverage can be spotty. No TV. Bring a book, your love, a friend.

Amazing gem!
Lisa was so accommodating with switching our days for or vacation. This property is amazing we love all the details of the house. It was an amazing experience to be able to cook and see deers and other animals from the kitchen window. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Such an amazing stay. The birds nest is such a beautiful oasis. It is private and serene. So much wildlife all around. It is comfortable and cozy and would love to visit again. The host, Lisa, is so kind and very helpful. Lisa helped answer all our questions and replies very quickly. This cute little hut is the perfect couples getaway for those looking for a quiet private area.

Our happy place
Words cant describe how beautiful and special this location is. We enjoyed every second of our stay. The lovely hosts really have something amazing here. They put so much love and care into every detail of their property and it shows. We will definitely come back every year. Especially since my now fiance proposed in front of the lake.
