Zenao Appart'hôtels Troyes

This is easy place for an overnight stay when you drive through the country and met our needs. We were driving from South France and wanted to stop over in Troyes. The place is very clean, spacious room, very comfy beds. Do not however book breakfast, it is very basic. The milk was off and the coffee just not drinkable. You will not leave hungry but not worth 8 or 9 Euros. I also would appreciate to be given wifi password on arrival but we were so tired did not want to chase it. Bare in mind this is a home for seniors and they rent rooms out they have free to tourist. It is about 15-17 min walk to town center so location is quite good. We were not lucky with the view of the room and our one was looking over the construction site but we literally stayed for one night only. I would happily stay here again though just trying to point the pluses and weaknesses of the place. Thank you.

The building is located in a renovation area of old mills and industrial heritage buildings. Most of the building is new but part is a conversion. The external entrance is completely unfinished but you don’t need to stay in it.! There is underground parking but used outdoor courtyard space due to the height of the car. The apartment was amazing, hugely spacious, very adaptable heating, included electric blinds as well as curtains. Plentiful towels bath mat et cetera in the shower room. The wet room is suitable for anyone, not romantic but functional. The toilet is rather high so not so good if you’re very short. Reception was very good although other than giving out keys and taking them back again and saying hello and goodbye when going out I didn’t have to have to ask them to do anything special. I didn’t try for breakfast but having put my head round the door of the dining room saw an amazing view over the mill race ( but it didn’t look like breakfast had been plentiful) . Having said that there are loads and loads of restaurants etc within a few minutes walk away. Troyes was a total gobsmacking delight of a place and having only needed to stay for one night I’m determined to go back and stay for several nights and I’m definitely very happy to book the same accommodation again. I can see that the accommodation is shared to some extent with accommodation for seniors however everyone has to stay somewhere and I’m happy to share with people of any age.

Ayant séjourné une quinzaine de jours dans un studio de cette résidence située dans une ancienne usine de bonneterie transformée en appart hôtel et résidence service pour seniors ! Nous avons pu y apprécier la qualité de l’endroit, la gentillesse du personnel, n’hésitez pas à y prendre le petit-déjeuner bien servi sous forme d’un buffet varié et d’apprécier la belle salle où vous pourrez le savourer ! Le studio loué au rez-de-chaussée est bien équipé du nécessaire (bonne literie double) et bénéficie du calme du lieu avec toutefois un bémol, le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de mobilier pour profiter de la terrasse… Vous pouvez aussi réserver une place de parking sécurisé au sous-sol pour voitures et motos… Un lieu sommes toute atypique mais à recommander…

Odeur de soupe, logement dans la maison de retraite, ambiance glauque qui rappelle l'hopital, petit déjeuner niveau cantine scolaire, réservation validée 2 jours après l'achat. Mettez 10 € de plus pour un hotel sérieux !

Incroyable que rien ne le mentionne. C’est la première fois que je réserve un hôtel et que je suis obligée de partir tellement c’est sale La chambre se trouve dans une maison de retraite. C’est sale, triste !! Je ne comprends pas les avis !! Du vol et du mensonge

Deuxième visite dans cet hôtel, à 2 pas du centre ville, qui tient plus d’un appart’hotel dans un contexte particulier s’agissant d’une résidence seniors. Tarif hyper compétitif. Chambre (2 pièces pour ce qui nous concerne) spacieuse et très propre. Literie confortable. Salle de bains « handicapés » spacieuse même si un pare douche serait nécessaire (amovible au besoin). La décoration est très (trop!) neutre et l’équipement minimaliste (un peu plus de vaisselle serait appréciée). Dommage, la chambre occupée donne sur un patio enclavé mais nous avions eu la fois précédente une autre chambre avec vue sur rivière très sympa.
