Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resort

This is one of the best experiences hotel-wise my grandma and I have experienced in italy so far. The staff is very friendly and attentative and therefore made us feel very welcome. Everybody is always aiming to fulfill our wishes. Especially Davide, he is a service specialist with focus on the guests. Even though he‘s not fluent in english, he is extremly helpful and professional while remaining whitty and sympathetic. All facilities are very clean and well-kept and the overall resort is quiet and relaxing. Especially the pool area is extraordinary from what we‘ve experienced so far. The food also has great value, there‘s a big breakfast buffet and we did not have to miss anything. As well as the dinner - a great selection of meat and fish as well as freshly cooked pasta which varies in taste. The beach bar also offers lunch which is perfect for a small price. The shuttle to and from the hotel is very punctual and reliable. Even though we did not always reserve out spots the evening before, we were always welcomed for last-minute accomodations. Still, we did find that walking to and from the city centre is somewhat hazurdous since there are no pedestrian sidewalks, even though the short distance itself isnt a problem. The rooms are up to modern standart, however a little too small for a superior double room and unfortunately we did not have a great view since we had another Building in front of our terrace. Also, keep in mind that there no are no elevators so walking impaired people might have a problem. The staff luckily carried our heavy baggage up the stair to our room. Another perfect part of the hotel rooms are the bathrooms: our bathroom was very spacious, very clean at all times and especially the shower is great. It was our first visit in tropea and we will keep fond memories of our stay at the Sentido Michelizia Resort.

My wife and I were part of a seven day organised tour. Our hotel room was spacious, with a huge bed, and very comfortable. It was cleaned and tidied daily. Hotel staff were friendly and professional. The hotel food was superb, and plenty of it in a buffet. The breakfast omelette was marvellous. Grounds were clean and tidy. The swimming pool was lovely. I would recommend this hotel. It's close to lots of places of interest, most easily accessible by train.

I spent three nights at Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resort in a Seaview room, and the staff truly made me feel at home. Dominique, Mariella, and the director Piero, also taorminese :-), were outstanding and made my stay special. The views from my room were breathtaking, and the pool was clean and beautiful—perfect for relaxing. Breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and the service was impeccable. They genuinely look after their guests, ensuring every detail is just right. They also provide a free shuttle service to the beach, city center, and train station, which is amazing and very rare. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tropea!

The hotel is situated in an excellent location. Beautiful rooms and an amazing pool area, nice relaxing atmosphere, good food, clean and great service. Staff were very friendly and helpful and catered to all our needs. Shuttle service to the centre or to the lido is efficient. Keep it up

I led a tour party of 38 senior soles to Calabria, based out of this resort hotel. With a party so large, getting a 5* rating from them all would be miraculous. But clearly the overall feeling was positive. The accommodation is good, the facilities excellent and everyone enjoyed the food and drink. In particular the staff were excellent and the reception led by Mariella and Dominique were very helpful and kind. The only challenge for some was getting to town, which is a 15 minute walk away. I look forward to another visit.

For me Michelizia at Tropea is the best resort hotel in Calabria. All the staff is so kind and the restaurant offers delicious dishes with local food and cuisine. Also service is perfect. Tropea has amazing beauty of sea and of historical city, monuments, also of people. 100 percent recommended!
