Beautiful hotel in a convenient location near transportation and wonderful bars zany restaurants. Great staff, easy check in and wonderful room .

Excellent choice in Trieste: clean,comfortable room and also good deal on trip.com. The only minor downside for me was the surrounding area.

I have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!

Accogliente ed appropriato! Esattamente come ti aspetteresti un hotel a quattro stelle nel cuore di una incantevole città come Trieste.

Struttura elegante e accogliente, ma situata in strada un po' decentrata e molto trafficata. Da migliorare nella varietà e nella qualità il servizio di colazione.

Ottimo Hotel in posizione perfetta per visitare Trieste comodamente a piedi e con una colazione eccellente. Lo staff è sempre disponibile attento e gentile

Siamo arrivati di sera e abbiamo parcheggiato nel Garage dell'hotel, a qualche metro dall'ingresso, ma un po stretto entrarci con un SUV. Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla stanza della lettura con libri per tutti i gusti, disponibili per i clienti. Pulizia buona nelle camere. Colazione ricca. Cosa assolutamente non ci aspettavamo è che le camere sono divise internamente da una porta. Abbiamo passato la notte peggiore in assoluto. L'insonorizzazione è terribile. Non accettabile per un hotel a 4 stelle. Affianco a noi una giovane coppia che faceva sesso selvaggio con schiaffi e urla da spaventare anche un attore porno. Ci hanno deliziato con grida e lamenti tutta la notte e mattina. Ogni volta che finalmente chiudevo gli occhi rincominciavano. Poi di notte verso le 3 anche quelli al piano di sopra hanno iniziato a ballare sulla nostra testa con i tacchi a spillo. Orribile. E per finire cuscini duri e scomodi. Mio marito ha provato ad andare nella loro "palestra" e non è stato possibile, perché con una persona dentro era già affollato. Per la Spa devi pagare un supplemento di 100 euro. Per una spremuta di arancia e omelette devi pagare un supplemento pure ( nonostante avessimo colazione inclusa). Molto delusi. Un peccato perché l'hotel sembrava ottimo sulla carta e a primo impatto.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alle Mitarbeiter/innen sind kompetent und vor allem die Mitarbeiterinnen beim Frühstück äußerst freundlich und gut gelaunt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und schön renoviert. Die Garage/n sind ganz in der Nähe und der Preis für 24 Stunden völlig in Ordnung. Ein kleines Hotel mit persönlicher Note.

El hotel nos gustó mucho, es un hotel con pocas habitaciones, la clásica es justita de tamaño, pero todo muy limpio y decorado con mucho gusto, muy clásico, el baño era pequeño, tenia ducha, pero tenía de todo y todo estaba en perfecto estado. En el desayuno, no sabíamos que los platos calientes, había que pedirlos, no estaba indicado y tampoco nos lo ofrecieron, pero al ver a otros clientes pedirlo, nosotros también lo hicimos, excepto eso, todo fue muy correcto y la atención de los empleados también.
