The service was incredible by two Indonesian women who work at the reception, the bed is very comfortable, the room is very spacious, the cleanliness is excellent. A very important point: it is far from the center and Trier is not as easy to get around as a big city, so you have to walk a lot to get to the center and there is no minibar or electric kettle in the room.

The location behind the main station, but without direct access, requires 30 minutes walk to both the station and the city centre. The rooms are rather small, but convenient and functional. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very good for a short stay and the parking was free.

The parking lot that comes with it has very few parking spaces, and the front desk staff suggested that we park in the nearby parking lot for a fee of 2 euros. There was a bed that could be opened on the wall behind the sofa. We booked two beds when we booked, but the hotel forgot to put the bed in place. Room is cleaned 1x every 3 days and the hand towels used are then discarded, so a nice mountain was dirty on the floor, not a pleasant face. No ventilation in the room, window can be at a ventilation stand, but if the room is on the front ( street side), the sound of traffic of the busy street is ALL ALL, the window must remain close but no fresh air is not fine. Perfect locarion, very close to the city center and at the same time far away from the city noise. Very clean and cosy rooms, delicious breakfast and nice atmosphere. It feels really like a home. If I have a chance to go again to Trier, I would definitely book this hotel again.

Unexpectedly, I didn't expect this place to be the hometown of Karl Marx. I got up early in the morning and went to the town to experience the local culture. The hotel has a great location with parking. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the former home of Marx. It is worth mentioning that the former residence of Marx is directly opposite a red tavern.
