My friends and I booked 5 rooms for a reunion, The location was perfect, the price was right, But we were very wrong when we assumed Marriott properties are smoke free. Smoke wafts in from the neighboring room in the two bedroom residences inn.... talk about second hand smoke.. There are a lot of folks who do "long stays" and being winter they definitely smoke right outside and perhaps even in the room In fairness to the hotel management... they told us they would move us (but at the same time insisted no one smoked inside - and it was the smoke from under the door) I would not stay in this hotel unless Marriott stays true with their claims Raghu

This hotel is one of the worse we have ever stayed in and is in terrible shape. We found what looked like a bloodstain on the mattress of our sofa bed and had to switch rooms late at night with our two young kids. The new room had peeling wallpaper and there were used dog poop bags under the stairwell. The walls are thin and you can hear everything going on around you. The only good thing I can say is the staff was responsive but it’s probably because they have to deal with these issues often. We usually stay at Residence Inns because they’re a convenient for families and we will be more careful about reading reviews and vetting next time.

We had a confirmed reservation and were told if we came before 8 pm, there would be no problem checking in. When we got there at 6 pm it was completely closed, there was no phone number to reach anyone except those off-site who knew nothing. The worse possible experience of completely unreliable management. Do not book this for short stay!

Disgusting property conditions. My gosh, the dirtiest room we have ever stayed in. I have pictures. Smelled like a cigarette. Hair follicles all over in linen, towels, and floor. Mold on siding. Did I mention how bad the cigarette smoke is! I’m a huge Marriott fan. Corporate should close this property until improvements are made. It needs investment. I am reasonable but disgusted. I will say the staff associate who checked us in was wonderful.

Residence inn, this felt more like a refurbished retirement home. Room was dirty, felt dirty sleeping in the bed. I am used to a lot, but, would never have stayed here by choice. Breakfast was fine, parking was available, local eateries were within walking distance. Staff were nice, just didn't feel like a Residence Inn, felt like a Days Inn with a small kitchen.

Did we mention the old french fries on the floor and dirty tissues behind the nightstand. After assuring us we would receive extra points for having to clean the filthy room, we have yet to see those points in our account. No one will take responsibility for the deplorable condition of this property. Would definitely NOT recommend staying here unless you bring your own cleaning supplies.

Filthy - shouldn’t be able to have the Marriott name. I first noticed the dirty table / counters and then I saw the diarrhea on the toilet. They changed my room which was better but still not the cleanest. Would not recommend - will spend $20 more and stay someplace nicer and cleaner

The team here was amazing!! Aiyanna at check-in was so friendly and welcoming! Ruby the Ops Manager as well. We had our 2 pups with us and they were so accommodating! Bernie prepared our room and it was prestine! Will, the breakfast attendant was on it & so friendly. The hotel was sparkling clean, the service absolutely exceeded our expectations!! Make a res here if your heading to Durham…rooms are upgraded and the team was incredible! Thank you so much, we’ll be back!

It is good but Can do better. Breakfast was good, carpets looks so old. Service is good. The old thing I felt bad about is carpet is so old. Parking service is good. Customer service is good. Can maintain better cleaning.
