St. Austell

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, both on reception and serving staff. The room was clean and well equipped. Tea and coffee facilities available, and refills were available on reception. The beds are very comfortable and we had the best night's sleep.

We stayed here for one night as very close to Eden Project which is only about 8 minutes by car Very friendly and welcoming staff Nice big and clean room There is no air-con but there was a large and fairly quiet fan that was good Nice resturant attached plus this located in a business park with a bakery just 2 minutes away which also offers breakfast choices The only slight negative is there is no lift (although we were offered help if we needed it without bags) and the hotel is u-shaped so it can be a bit of a trek going up various steps to get into your room . But it’s a minor issue but if you do have accessibility issues do check this when you book

Staff very friendly and helpful Room was basic but we only needed a bed and shower room for the night So reasonably priced based on that. Didn't use the restaurant on this occasion but did buy drinks from bar. You do need to get more staff for restaurant/bar as took awhile to get served

Great hotel in a nice semi-rural area, with lots of great walks nearby. Friendly staff, room spotless and quite big for a single room. Communal areas spotless too and restaurant next door was good value. Would it recommend it. Will come again.

Picked this premier because of it's accessibility to St Austell and surrounding area. Perfect location for travelling to gardens of Heligan and Bodmind or just popping down to some nearby beaches. Bonus was the Niles bakery/Cafe about 100m away. Great hotel, lovely staff and nice comfy beds. I use Premier Inn a lot and this was one of the best.

Awful. The room I was allocated (204) is at the back of the building up several flights of stairs and the directions are disorientating. This room also has an extractor fan that runs all of the time even when the bathroom is not in use. By midnight and unable to sleep due to noise one of the staff attended. They advised that this is a regular issue in this room and to resolve it stand on a chair and remove a ceiling tile. The switch can then be turned off but it would be necessary to repeat this to turn it on again when I needed a shower. This was completely unsafe for myself and the staff member. I have contacted premier inn directly but they are having to carry out an investigation. They did send an email requesting a review so here it is.
