Tom's of Tregaron

Booked online for 1 night to see family nearby. Lovely B&B which only has 2 rooms. We stayed in the room overlooking the garden. Well presented, clean and spacious. Good selection of tea & coffee provided. Very comfortable night had. Stairs leading to the rooms are narrow and winding but assistance is offered with your bags if needed. Breakfast in the morning is in the small cafe area, food was excellent. The premises being 150 year old are decorated very well. Ray & Andrea were great hosts there to make your stay an enjoyable one. Will book again if in the area again.

Called into the cafe for lunch. Today's special was home made cawl accompanied by freshly baked homemade bread, all made by chef Roy. The ideal meal on such an icy and cold day. Highly recommended!! Cafe was busy and is well supported by local customers. Fresh table linens and bone china crockery add that touch of class to the dining experience, and food is very reasonably priced.

During a recent storm I was without warm water and heating for 4 days. I rang to see if they had rooms but Andrea was so kind she said I could use a room and have a shower. After sitting in a freezing house for 4days with just a camping stove , it was pure bliss. I also had a full English and this was absolutely lovely. The whole experience was exceptional , it even made me emotional at how generous they were.

This is the second time I have stayed here. There are 2 rooms available for overnight stays and I have now stayed in both. Both rooms are accessed through a very quirky staircase which I find wonderful in such a property and is to be expected. The rooms I found to be in excellent condition with both having a very hot and powerful shower. The beds are just lovely, I would highly recommend that you set your alarm as you may not get up on time if you don't! The owners are just brilliant people, that you get the sense that they will do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I honestly cannot express this enough! Just wonderful people. I have just booked another trip staying with them next September. The rooms, one is of a standard ceiling height and the other is a touch lower with a very quaint door on the entry, certainly an entertaining challenge if you have had one too many for sure! But with both having decent TV channels, wi-fi and tea/coffee making facilities, both rooms cater well for the B&B guests. I will continue to use Tom's of Tregaron as I feel that it is very good value for money, the owners are just great people and I love the rooms. Bottom line. Fantastic hosts, clean and well kept rooms, quirky property. Fantastic!

We stayed for one night at Toms. Lovely place, room was quaint and had everything we needed. The real positive was the owners. Leant us cash so we could get a take away from town after arriving in the early evening following a long drive. Local takeaway only took cash. They were happy for us to eat it in our room providing plates and cutlery. Great breakfast in the morning. We didn't realise we left our phone charger in our room until we got home. They were happy to post it to us. Great owners and go beyond the normal service. We would certainly stay again.

Warm welcome, great breakfast. Very popular with the local inhabitants - which us always a good sign!!! All produce sourced locally and delicious homemade cakes! I would highly recommend a visit👍 B&B accommodation also available of you're staying in the area.
