Residence Cortile Mercè

The B&B is well located close to the old town and the train station, and the bus stop to go to the Erica cable car. The room was large and comfortable, and had a kitchen area. Our check was handled by Giancarlo who was very friendly and gave advise on the area and Erica. Visitors should be aware that there are no real common areas, and also no breakfast facilities but the B&B recommend a cafe 1 minutes walk away and this was very good and well priced.

We stayed 1 week in this residence as part of the Dialysis program by Mucaria. Mucaria booked this appartment for us presumably as partners. Everything went well during check in as we arrived around 9pm. Upon official check in the following day, we were informed by Giancarlo that cleaning would have additional charges but he would see to it that we get towels etc. I see that this residence has a very good reviews on *********** about cleanliness etc. However, i want to disprove this by showing pictures of our Room Nr 3 ĺocated at the ground floor. The room has a a second floor where the bedroom is. If you are 1.7 meters tall you would bump your head on the ceiling. It is like staying in an attic. Moreover, the unit has no windows. Debris material was falling on the stairs and the sofa everyday presumably this unit was recently renovated. The bathroom seems to have been renovated as well as you see signs of tube fittings still protruding on the barthroom walls which should have been removed. The shower cannot be adjusted and there are signs of moulds. Giancarlo, the gentleman at the reception, was really helpful as reviewed by other guests. However, there is one incident, where he shouted at my wife for taking a roll of toilet paper from the cleaner's trolley without asking for permission. According to my wife nobody was there, so she simply got one, like what we sometimes do when staying in hotels. We paid for this items and they cost nothing. Giancarlo saw her and shouted at my wife despite my wife having already apologised. I find this behaviour of Giancarlo to be very rude and ungentlemanly considering the medical condition of my wife and that we are guests of this residence. My wife's only fault was she did not ask for permission, but Giancarlo's reaction was unacceptable. I noticed, too, how particular this residence is for money and profit. I know that we had a special price since the booking was done by Mucaria but I donot know what kind of arrangement they have. Giancarlo, was asking for 30 euros for cleaning and 35 euros for extension of checkout to 1540H or about 4 hours. According to Mucaria it is only 30 euros when I talked to Giancarlo he insisted it was 35 Euros. So I paid without any argument but what was questionable is that I did not get an official receipt?????? My wife already gave all the feedbacks to Mucaria and I hope Mucaria will no longer use this residence for their guests. This is a very objective review of our stay in the residence.

Struttura appena nel centro storico, con possibilità di parcheggio a pochi metri sulla strada principale nelle strisce blu. Recentemente ristrutturato sembra un cortile arabo, stanze grandi ed essenziali ma con letti comodi e provviste del necessario. Grande attenzione e accoglienza da parte di Giancarlo in reception ( che fa la differenza) che cartina alla mano ti mostra ristoranti ed attrazioni, tutto raggiungibile a piedi tra i vicoli che al tramonto sulle mura di tramontana virano al color rosa . Ascensore presente , accessibile su sedia a rotelle, Pet friendly , non servono la colazione ma è in convenzione col bar accanto.. Consigliato… risparmi e fai bella figura 😉!

Siamo stati benissimo, personale pieno di attenzioni ci hanno dato ottimi consigli, su dove mangiare, bere prendere gelato ecc consigli su posti da visitare, camere pulite e carine, ci torneremo senz’altro. Consigliatissimo per single o coppie

Torniamo oggi da qualche giorno a Trapani. Abbiamo soggiornato al Residence Mercé per 4 notti. La nostra era la camera 8 suite superiore. Che dire il personale molto gentile, efficiente. Camera pulita, aria condizionata funzionante, unica cosa che riguarderei è il bagno...doccia scopone secchio per fazzoletti un po' arrugginiti o con calcaree. Per il resto tutto top. Posizione vicino al porto dove ci sono gli imbarchi, dove partono alcune escursioni, vicino al centro 5 minuti a piedi.. A 100 metri neanche da un buonissimo bar per le colazioni Bar Della Piazzetta. Transfer a pagamento da e per aeroporto. Grazie di tutto
