Quite simply one of the finest and most delightful places I have ever stayed. Beautiful, exquisitely decorated and furnished, extremely well maintained and super clean. Ticked every box imaginable.

Fabulous experience - the room, grounds, swimming pool and chateau were all beautiful. Although there is no restaurant on site a lovely salad was prepared for us for lunch and the breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel, grounds are amazing. We stayed in the "Gardeners Cottage" which was superb. Breakfast was very good. Only missing it's own restaurant but local places are good.

Beautiful setting but good service (we were able to check in 4 hours early) BUT pool was closed. Breakfast was good all be it limited options, room was clean, linens were good quality, beautiful grounds. We picked this hotel over another for the pool so it was particularly disappointing that it had limited opening hours, was closed when it rained and didn’t open on time in the morning.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful Chateau recently and it was absolutely magnificent. Our room was beautiful and the bathroom was out of this world, huge in size with both a bath and shower. The room was beautifully decorated and incredibly cozy on what was a very cold January day! The grounds are magnificent and given its location, it is incredibly quiet and charming. The staff were superb - Charlain who checked us in spoke English beautifully and was ever so helpful, organising a bottle of champagne and a platter of wonderful meats and cheese for dinner. Madame Gaetane Durand, the owner of the chateau was wonderful and cooked us a delicious breakfast early the next morning before we left. She was truly delightful and she and her team have created an absolutely beautiful haven in Le Mans. We did only stay the one night but we look forward to returning and I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel, a real gem.

Charming place and well maintained . Best place to stay in Le Mans area . This castle is the most quiet place for a good night sleep with good quality bedding and nice breakfast . We stayed 3 nights with two kids, our flight arrived in Paris very early so we needed an early check in , which they nicely accepted for a very reasonable fee . I had made a mistake and reserved 2 nights instead of 3 they also were so kind and thankfully the hotel was not full so we added a night . The room was very large and comfortable with a view over the garden and castle. Mini fridge with complementary sparkling and still water. Large bed with high quality bedding. Beautiful bathroom with bath and I was impressed by the choice of products, all natural and organic which I really appreciate. Breakfast was high quality with fresh squeezed orange juice, n espresso coffee, great croissants etc.. best brand of jam, Mariage Frere teas , pancakes, fruit salad etc etc all served under a lovely veranda on a table with porcelain and silverware . I cannot forget to mention the great service, very nice staff We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked pretty with grass and lounge chairs We highly recommend this place and will stay there again

Beautiful country chateau, charming spot which felt like a escape from everything! The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor in the rooms is really charming. The staff were really helpful and welcoming! A highlight was getting a tour of the beautiful chateau by the owner who was so passionate about their project! Would really recommend! It is a lovely family business and we really enjoyed our stay. The only down side is there is no restaurant on the site. They do however do lovely meat and fish platters! Thanks so much for a really great stay to all the staff- Philippine and Charlene especially! Wishing you every success, from the Theunissens

What a find for us. We had to move hotels from one which was like a ******* house to this divine property. Greeted as we stepped out of our car, and shown to our charming bedroom and huge bedroom. Everything was super clean. No restaurant, but the staff were very helpful trying to find us a place to eat on the Bank Holiday which is tricky. Breakfast in the Chateau though was delicious!! Loved this place of peace & quiet so much that we are back in July & next year too. Cannot wait. If you are looking for a tranquil place to rest up, this is for you!

Unfortunately we only stayed one night in this wonderful, wonderful place. We had three rooms in total for our group and each and everyone of them was gorgeous and very, very comfortable (air conditioning! In France! In the extreme summer heat of these weeks (36 C). Pool lovely, with enough sun beds, breakfast wonderful and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful surroundings and a short drive away of Le Mans (which is apart from the 24h museum and the Plantagenet area relatively underwhelming). In a nutshell: go!
