You must stay here! This newly renovated home is conveniently located and the perfect place for us to visit all the D-Day Normandy beaches. We stayed in the family room with a terrace upstairs, which was ideal for our family of four. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable, adorned with fluffy linen duvet covers and emerald green blankets. The bathroom was well-designed, featuring modern tiles, a walk-in shower, and a heated towel rack, which was particularly handy since we visited in early March. Sandrine was the perfect host, providing us with dinner suggestions for nearby restaurants that were only a three-minute drive or a short walk away. The breakfast the following day was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. Sandrine had everything laid out, from croissants to homemade jams and locally sourced meats and cheeses. My son was still battling jet lag, but Sandrine kindly whipped up eggs and bacon for him, which he thoroughly enjoyed. As we enjoyed our breakfast, we appreciated the many D-Day memorabilia displayed throughout the room, along with various pamphlets and maps for visiting the D-Day museums and beaches. I cannot say one negative thing about our stay. It was short but amazing! It truly felt like home, and our host, Sandrine, was incredibly kind and friendly. Thank you!

I visited first in July with my sister and elderly mother when visiting the British Normandy D-day memorial. Sandrine and Rudolph are the kindest hosts, so helpful and friendly and made our stay very easy. We stayed in the Omaha beach room which is on the top floor with a balcony and sitting area too. Beds and sofa bed are really high quality with very comfortable mattresses and excellent linen etc. The bathrooms are very well equipped and modern. The house has lots of character and there are touches of memorabilia and posters with clever decor which makes the place quirky but the level of detail and specification of the rooms is outstanding, It impressed so much that I returned for a night with my husband during our trip through France in September and stayed in the same room! The breakfasts were fabulous, with delicious home made jams and freshly squeezed OJ, range of lovely bread/ cheeses/ hams etc. Great coffee! We ate the table D'hote dinner on the second stay - good value, lovely sea food and great pudding! Generous servings of good value wine too. We enjoyed the pool on our first visit and the gardens are a lovely spot to sit and relax too. Very peaceful at night with no traffic noise but only a very short drive or walk down the hill into Arromanche. This lovely couple have made a delightful place to stay and I highly recommend their hospitality.

We stayed at La Villa Mirabelle as a base to come to Normandy and see the sea and cultural sights like Mont Saint Michel and the Bayeux tapestry. But I think my favorite moment was eating the absolutely delicious and creative meal they served on the patio and watching the kids playing lawn sports until dark. Everything was very clean and attended to. It was a peaceful and easy stay which was wonderful as we were exhausted after a week in Paris. Sandrine and Rodolphe are very warm, we felt welcomed and our needs attended to but it also felt like a private family vacation.

Our stay for 3 days is absolutely wonderful. A very squeaky clean room, breakfast is very very good. Very responsive and accommodating hosts who provided all the information we need as well as some tips/activities to do around. The villa itself has a very homey and welcoming feeling, somewhere you can breath and just relax. Its absolutely recommended. An extra toiletry like toothbrush would be an additional plus:)

When given the opportunity to stay in a French country side home over any hotel, you alway go with the home. What a fantastic experience! Our hosts were absolutely perfect. They gave us tons of information, cooked the most delicious meals, and had electric bikes for us to use for our adventures up and down the Normandy beaches. La Villa Mirabelle is the perfect place to stay if you ever find yourself in Normandy near Arromanches-les-Bains. You must ask for the tiramisu!

Heel vriendelijk koppel, een heel mooi huis en dito tuin. Super leuk gedecoreerd. Telkens weer een verrassing waar je ook kijkt. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid. Het laat niks te wensen over! Onze kamer is ruim een heerlijk bed, alles superschoon. Aan alles is gedacht, vergrotende spiegel om op te maken, föhn, álles👌🏻

Très bon accueil par Sandrine. Chouette chambre, bonne literie. Essuies de piscine et peignoirs à votre disposition. Et la délicieuse cuisine de Rodolphe ! Au final, nous avons soupé presque tous les soirs à la Villa. Nous n’oublierons jamais nos nombreuses conversations amicales avec Rodolphe et Sandrine qui connaissent très bien leur région. Ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Sandrine und Rondolph sind unglaublich nette und bemühte Gastgeber. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Räume sehr sauber und geschmackvoll dekoriert. Die Materialien wie Bettwäsche und Handtücher sehr hochwertig. Zudem haben beide uns mit guten Tipps für Fahrradtouren versorgt. Jederzeit gerne wieder.
