Sobo Bade

We came to this hotel as a family, on the advice of the 2022 backpacker guide! The hotel is atypical and peaceful, especially during this winter period! We were offered 2 rooms on the garden side… one had the air conditioning leaking profusely, the second stank of humidity and the air conditioning made a lot of noise… we were then offered another room whose walls were completely moldy! We then made the decision to leave even if it meant losing our 2 nights reserved… at reception we were then offered a new room with a typical ocean view and not smelling of humidity… poor cleaning and leaky toilets… However, upon opening the door opening directly onto the ocean, we also saw a beach covered in garbage... the terraces in front of the room were accessible to everyone (children from the village, painter coming to eat there) and littered with garbage... impossible to see. enjoy. This could be a very nice hotel but it lacks maintenance, cleanliness and a minimum of cleaning of the common areas and surrounding areas: terraces, beach!! Around twenty cats are lounging next to the hammocks… The only positive point is the restaurant: Abdou is the only one who gave us a smile and with whom we were able to chat and exchange!! The cuisine is good… conclusion we left at the end for one night because we wanted the children to be able to swim in safety and not among the garbage and the dogs... we had until now lived in a Senegalese style homestay... we just wanted to enjoy 2 days at the beach with the family … what a disappointment and we did not find this famous terraga which had thrilled us since the beginning of our stay!!

Very nice setting and serenity on site, decent cuisine and typical room Only downside…. If you order a drink, have the change returned immediately because a waiter working there lacks correction at this level….. in short, be careful
