This holiday was exactly what we were looking for a beautiful cove with clear water for wonderful swimming . The breakfast selection was vast and good if you like healthy food ,they were good regarding allergies too . Albert the tennis coach was excellent , totally passionate about his job , the Romanian sport receptionist was so helpful and kind too . We loved the style of the hotel and the staff could not of been more friendly . We have not left yet but it’s so good I wanted to write this review while I am still gazing at the palm trees ! Also if you are looking for somewhere tasteful not full of the worst type of English tourist this is for you ( sorry but the plane was full of them )It is set in the mountains ,we saw a wild boar a lizard and a kingfisher , there are however shuttle buses into town should you wish to go shopping or visit the castle . We will be back

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zel Costa Brava, the resort is beautiful, we went to experience suites that were set in the mountains, a great pool area with plenty of beds (no early morning dash to reserve beds), and a great beach that you have access to. There is a kids clubs, mini golf, tennis courts and an indoor spa area that we also enjoyed. The breakfast and dinner are in line with what you expect for buffet food and we found the staff to all be helpful and attentive when needed. It’s a very unique and beautiful resort and for me that is what you are signing up to here, not many like it for that. Can see some significant improvements from some of the negative posts on here, so would recommend this resort if you are seeking a unique and beautiful place to relax and unwind. Tossa de Mar is a 10-15 minute drive and is stunning with plenty of great restaurants to enjoy and a beach with castle to visit, very scenic. Only one ask would be to have more lunch options, especially for the kids, but wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Recommended !!!

Very nice hotel in terms of location. The hotel has changed management and some parts have been beautifully renovated. However, the hotel used to have a great offer for all age groups, but unfortunately no longer for Gen Z or millennials. The food is sometimes cold. The pool and the rooms with a sea view are unbeatable. Also the prices at the bar and restaurants changed a lot to be more expensive.

Had a short stay on a work visit to the area. Liked everything about the hotel and the stunning and peaceful location. A very friendly and informal service adds to the relaxing atmosphere with plenty of activities available for those who want a more active holiday. Would love to return on a leisure visit and have chance to enjoy even more this special place.

I have not long come back from a stay at this beautiful hotel and it did not disappoint. We went the day after it opened, the staff we friendly and helpful, they were all still trying to get to grips with everything having only been open 24 hours, but they did their best to make everything as smooth as they could. We had a Mediterranean Sea view room and the views were stunning. The room was well equipped and perfect for 2 friends on holiday. It had a lounge area, balcony and a small kitchen area. We both used the spa facilities too, the massage was just perfect and very relaxing. The pool area was fab, plenty of sun beds to go around, and just a small stroll away from the beach. Me and my friends had a time here, it was relaxing, the views were just and most of all the staff were just happy to help in any way they can. Huge shout out to Rosario - she is the absolute best at her job.

Beautiful hotel and beach but tries a bit too hard to be trendy, and fails. Service in restaurant not great. Good selection of food but not all good quality. Tennis coach poor and not worth the money. Indoor pool and gym very good, and stunning views from room.

Great pool area / beach. Spacious and well appointed rooms. Great breakfast buffet. Newly refurbished communal areas were welcoming and stylish.Unfortunately the hotel is quite isolated with no other evening dining options so we felt obliged to go half board. Evening buffet incredibly disappointing (we had 3 nights) which rather marred the whole experience . Hope Melia are working on this as it does not reflect our previous experience with the group

This hotel is wonderful relaxed location in the mountains I would say if you have mobility problems many steps we did have an issue we cleanliness on arrival in our room after concerns Danny sorted an alternative room .The choice for breakfast and evening meal was second to none. Check out before 12 or you will be charged £10for extra hours .Beautiful private beach .Definitely 4* maybe even 5*

We are a well travelled young family and went to this hotel last year and loved it. When I heard it was being taken over by Meliá I knew it would be lovely so booked again (communication via email was great, staff managed to get us the same room as last year which we really appreciated). The hotel did not disappoint. The new renovations have made this hotel even better. The decor, the atmosphere, the views are fantastic. The live music each night was lovely as well as the beach party. The kids club is really calm, with nice activities. The staff are incredible! So caring and welcoming. The half board option was great for us. Delicious food and plenty of variety. The staff work very hard and the waiters are so friendly. Overall, we loved our second stay here and would book again next year. The vibe, the views and the most helpful, friendly staff make this place very special.
