Staff not very helpful or friendly. We requested more pillows for our room. None ever provided. Felt like we were sharing a room with other guests, so noisy. Nothing was fone about that either. It is dilapidated and in need of a revamp. Not worth the money. Would not stay here again.

Wonderful hotel with nice staff. Will come back. Perfect location in central city. Newly renovated pool area with good music blasting. Although lots of morning noise from the city, wouldn’t recommend for sensible visitors. Highly recommend

Excellent location right by the beach and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean Rooms were basic with no tea making facilities. Had to get kettle from reception for 10 euros (refundable) To use the swimming pool/gym/beach you need your own towels Smallest shower gel/shampoo sachets in the bathroom Breakfast got a bit tiring towards the end of the stay Thinnest walls between the rooms. Could hear everything being said next room

Awful hotel. Rude staff (not the gym staff), prison like rooms, no towels for pool, air con not cold, horrible food and uncomfy beds without proper pillows. It was cheap but wasn’t even worth the money paid. Do not stay here and waste your money. Definitely not even a 3*

I took my own advice from my review last year. Got a pool facing room which was much quieter. Nice big clean room with a massive bed. Took our own pillows. Friendly reception staff. The bathroom area was very modern, but the shower had a button missing so we had to shower with the hand held hose as we couldn’t turn it to the overhead shower. Reported it but the young lady on reception knew, oh if you have short nails you can get it to work by poking your finger in the hole. Really? Why not just fix it? Location is ideal for bars, restaurants and the promenade.

Great location close to sea front, restaurants & port. Pool closed, bar closed because of time of year. Room clean, comfortable beds & good shower. Staff attitude underwhelming, no welcome or goodbyes. NO PLEASANTRIES AT ALL. €60 per night so OK I suppose.

We chose this hotel because of the central location and the swimming pool. When we arrived the last week of April, it had been +26C the whole week and we were eager to jump into the pool. However, we were informed that the pool will not be open until June, despite the hot weather. Unbelievable that they won’t open the pool earlier even with a weather like this. Not even in May. And on top of it all, the reason why the pool is closed is that it is dirty, but it could be easily cleaned with just 1 day of cleaning, when a heatwave like this arrives. But they just didn’t bother to do it, even though it would’ve been so easily done. A huge disappointment. There was no mention of the pool being closed on *********** when we made the booking. If there had been, we wouldn’t have chosen this hotel in the first place. In addition, we were constantly eaten by insects while staying at this hotel, because the air conditioning was nonexistant, which of course would’ve helped to keep the insects out, if functional. The room itself was nice, the location was good and the staff were ok.

We booked 2 nights as we were going to a music festival the first night and wanted a relaxing day and evening the next night. The room we have is facing the street and the traffic is very noisy. The walls are paper thin. The guests next door were showering this morning and it sounded like they were in our room. The beds and pillows are hard, feel like I’ve slept on a park bench with a brick for a pillow. Our a/c wasn’t working. The control box is hanging off the wall. We reported it and came back from a walkabout to a cool room. Silly us, we tried for 20 degrees, it’s now set at 10 degrees but the maintenance guy hadn’t secured the control to the wall. Pool area is nice. Had a rustic sandwich. Location is good. Reception staff friendly. We only live half an hour away, for what we paid it’s ok. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but I’d bring my own pillows. It could do with an update but it is very clean.
