Just home after a 3 night break by car after reading a glowing weather forecast for early April. Booked over the telephone and got just the type of room we wanted on the first floor overlooking Babbacombe Downs and the sea. We had no trouble getting the lift whenever we needed it. A member of the excellent staff, without being asked, helped us with our luggage up to the room. Any requests were met with immediate kindness and we felt really welcome. Very good team of cleaners ensure that both bedrooms and public rooms are kept clean. The position of the hotel is outstanding with both the shopping centres of Babbacombe and St. Marychurch within easy walking distance and well worth a visit. We were on a dinner B and B basis. The food was good value as it was varied , tasty and filling but perhaps not exactly gourmet. Both Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks were available and orders were taken and paid for at the table. Entertainment is provided in the evenings and the ELVIS Tribute act was impressive. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay and would return.

Another Fantastic stay with amazing Management and staff. From the Chefs, Front of House staff, waiters and waitresses, Bar staff , Housekeepers and Costa Staff they will make your Holiday the very best. Wouldn’t go anywhere else . Highly recommend

Have stayed here on a few occasions and as we live fairly locally decided to try the Sunday lunch. Have visited twice now in the past couple of months. Pre booked and requested a table by the window(though this is not guaranteed and to be honest you can see the sea from most tables)However we were fortunate to be allocated one in both occasions The roast was plentiful and tasty(the roast potatoes are a particular favourite) We have eaten here before when staying at the hotel so knew what to expect regarding quality and quantity. Regarding the roast ,there is a choice of 3 meats(you can have a mixture of to do choose),plus about 6 veg. There is also a complimentary pudding included in the price (about 5 cold deserts ,one hot,ice cream and various accompaniments. All for £13.95....excellent value...and of course the usual excellent customer service from the staff.

Friendly Staff. Comfortable rooms, clean. Facing the sea it’s set in a really beautiful location. Close to local transport and easy to travel to Torquay, Brixham, Dartmouth and other areas. Large range of foods for breakfast and evening meals .

Travelled with GB tours with Doug, our friendly and cheerful driver. The hotel has a wonderful position and we had a seaview room which was quiet, clean, nicely decorated with comfortable beds. There was a reasonable choice of food and plenty of it with gluten-free options. Our first night's entertainer, Simon Rees, was so good that the next two night's acts were rather disappointing but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. All staff were pleasant and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay at the Babbacombe Hotel again.

Got burgled when I was there last week..poor security. There was lots of people lost a lot of money .including me £100 .they got in all the rooms easy no sign of break in .police was called they still haven't found them ..be careful . Manager was very uncaring. I wouldnt go again .

This was our third visit to the hotel, travelled with GB tours for a 4 day Easter break, never disappointed, excellent well run hotel lovely friendly pleasant staff always ready to help, clean comfortable beds and linen, walk in shower, well run restaurant with a good choice of meals, magnificent views across the bay, whats not to like?

Just returned from another brilliant weekend in the Babbacombe Hotel. Excellent room, food, bar and top class entertainment. All the staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient and they did everything to ensure that our stay was enjoyable.

Just returned today from a coach holiday with KM Hotel is spot on Food buffet style which I loved All staff lovely and very friendly Entertainment was really good as well Be prepared if you play bingo and it's Tom calling the numbers He's a lovely lad But didn't like his style at all Had lovely weather and excursions were really good Would I return most definitely Would highly recommend Now the only downside was our journey home Waited 45 minutes in depot cause not enough feeder buses to take us home Had 4 coaches returning Left hotel at 9.30am and didn't get in till 6.30pm Should be better organised But all in all a great break
