Lindum Lodge

The family-run bed and breakfast was absolutely delightful! From the warm welcome to the cozy rooms, everything felt just like home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast they served was delicious, and the personal touch they added to everything made the experience truly special. I highly recommend this B&B for anyone looking for a homely and welcoming place to stay in Torquay :)

Had a lovely stay rooms clean and tidy, breakfast service spot on and breakfast very good, very welcoming. plenty to do around Torquay so this was close to everything we wanted to do,, Paignton zoo, Kent caves, bygones, and babnacom model village, so rooms comfortable to relax in after our trips

We stayed here for a 4 night break away. It is in a great location, not far from the Torquay Marina and shopping centre. On arrival we were shown to our parking space by the owner. This is a family run business and everyone is very friendly. Rooms are very clean with a lovely shower and beds very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and varied options are available. Looking forward to another visit!

We had a wonderful short break at Lindum Lodge. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who showed us around and told us all we needed to know. The bedrooms are modern, loads of storage and the most comfortable bed. A large comfortable lounge is very relaxing after a day of sight seeing. There is also a very attractive terrace, ideal for enjoying a glass of wine, weather permitting! Breakfasts are excellent, cooked to order, very promptly, Location is excellent: very close to seafront, town, bars , restaurants, and local bus services. Yes, there are hills, but you expect that in Torquay, however the owner is very keen to show you easier routes! We will be back.

Went to visit Torquay with my partner for a short stay. Upon check out the owner rang trying to blackmail my partner for him to take his review down due to not having a good experience. Upon arrival we were met by the owner who told us to shh, and who demanded I parked my car and did not turn around as I wished to do. The hotel was old and had the old smell to it also. Although disappointed we stayed and thought we’d just get on with our stay as it was only for the weekend. My partner wrote this review which was honest and reflected on our experience with Lindum lodge. This morning the owner has called my partner demanding he takes his review down and trying to tell us we were not allowed to take food and drink in the hotel although no where is this stated in any terms and conditions nor is this stated anywhere in the hotel. He has told him we will be charged a further £250 if this review is not removed. I then rang the hotel to which the same man answered the phone and was immediately hostile, abrupt and rude to me. As I stated it was not in his terms and conditions and he legally is unable to charge a card he has not authorisation to charge. He told me he doesn’t care and that he will do what he wants. This hotel was awful and the owner just as bad. Stay clear at all costs!!!

Warm welcome from the owner Russell who showed us around and advised us of the best routes into town, 5 mins walk. Room was lovely, modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely with good options available. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.
