Had a lovely time stopping here with family. We went half-board so we enjoyed breakfast and our evening meal. Rooms were decent with comfy beds. Staff went out of their way to provide a family-friendly service. Entertainment was decent too. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We’ve just returned from our 3rd stay in 2 years at this hotel and it’s still excellent all around, clearly down to the management team of Steve and Nelson. We had a problem with the mirrored wardrobe door that came adrift from the runners. We put it on the floor and I mentioned it in passing to Nelson that night around 9 pm in the bar, who immediately took a screwdriver and refitted it back in the robe. He came back to me at 9:30 to confirm that it had been rectified. All the staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jenny at the bar, and this is clearly down to the management team who lead by example. The bedroom was massive, but more importantly it was spotlessly clean, with very enjoyable food at meal times. Add to this the heated out door pool this must be the best Daish Hotel in the group, and we will be back there again soon.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel generally was welcoming. On the downside was breakfast when we had a full English breakfast it was either lukewarm and once it was cold even after complaining it never improved. The evening entertainment was good.

Enjoyed a lovely holiday at the Devonshire Hotel. The bedroom was nicely decorated clean and well serviced thanks to Kylie. Reception, halls and dining room were kept clean and tidy. Meals were served quickly and the food was hot,thanks to Ella, and the young man who served us on Ella's day off. Well done to the kitchen staff who provided us with the excellent meals. The pool was opened while I was there,but I didn't use it. Staff on hand at reception for any queries or questions,providing answers with a smile and friendly face. Nothing was too much trouble . Good bus service into Torquay and back , I also used the taxi which provided us with an excellent service. Great weather,clear blue skies and no rain. I will definitely be going back. Thanks to Bev and Sue for keeping me company and for making it such an enjoyable holiday.

Always a great stay, hotel staff very friendly . Hotel is very clean and welcoming. Bus stop outside if you don't want to walk into town.. Entertainment and bingo every night. Great value for what you pay . Day trip is offered if you want to go somewhere different.

My stay at the Devonshire was one of the best I have ever had with them (and I've had over 72 holidays with them ! ) from the start our driver was nice and so helpful and informative, in the reception the manager and staff were brilliant, in the restaurant the food was great and the waiting staff couldn't do enough for me so helpful with everything the cleaner for my room was lovely, and on top of that I met some old friends i had met before (Lee and Caroline) and we had some great days out together, an excellent hotel and holiday well done daish's ! malcolm.

The hotel was very clean and tidy ,all staff were very friendly and helpful .The meals were reasonable ,value for money .It was quite hilly down to Torquay town centre but a bus from the hotel took you there and back again.The evening entertainment was also quite good
