Very nice!
Difficult to identify entrance from the street, and check in is unclear and up a bunch of stairs. Also bunch of stairs (no ramp for disabled or luggage) from $50 parking garage.
Room is very nice - roomy and uncluttered. Only seating is 1 desk chair. Bathroom is huge and beautiful and wonderfully appointed!
Only interaction was on check in - very friendly and quick and professional.
Overall = Excellent but unsuitable for seniors or those with physical challenges.

10 minutes waiting for the phone to be answered to order airport shuttle ( although call made by another shuttle driver, so he was helpful!)
Long wait, unmarked shuttle bus, no help with loading suitcases.
Check in undertaken whilst receptionist on the phone, didn’t complete check in, started assisting other guests, demanded a credit card with no explanation why I had an ‘outstanding balance’ ( as I had prepaid in full- informed once I called that it was a tax: this could have been easily explained at the time!)
Insanely ‘fat’ pillows! I had to try sleeping without as they were so painful on my neck and back.
Room good, but truly unpleasant ‘welcome’ to the hotel!

Very friendly and kind front desk staff, though expected a bit more varieties to the inclusive breakfast, but the 21-4hr coffee corner got decent coffee ☕️:)

The location is good and there are minimum facilities, so I think it's enough for a solo traveler. It was nice to be able to get bread and coffee for free at the bar on the first floor in the morning.

The hotel is very easy to find by car, but the bus stop is not only easy to find, but also suitable for driving friends. There is an electric stove in the room, you can simply make some meals, no ventilation equipment. The room is not too big, the two beds are big and small. There is an elevator but it cannot be used. Everyone tries to arrange the room on the first floor. I was because the room that was originally on the second floor of the stairs was too noisy. Please wait for the waiter to change the room and change the room. There are more parking spaces and it costs $11.3 a day.

The location of the hotel is very good, but there is no front desk staff, so you need to call to get in; it is similar to a B&B, close to Chinatown (lots of Chinese restaurants and grocery stores) and the Ontario Museum of Art, and not far from the University of Toronto and a bustling shopping mall; the hotel is a The two-story villas (all on this street) look nice from the outside, but the rooms inside are small and the furniture and facilities are simple. There is only a small refrigerator, no hot water kettle or other heating equipment, and no toiletries. The service staff are Chinese and relatively easy to talk to.

FFrankieFriendly staff at front desk, smooth check-in. There’s everything you need in the sparkly clean room even though i stayed the smallest room. Laundry is available. Location is excellent. There is a 24-hour convenience store cross the main street. The neighborhood is lovely. Really enjoyed the stay. Will consider comeback next time.
MMatthewComfortable and quiet. Late check-in was no problem with good communication from host. I unfortunately arrived late and left early and didn’t get a chance to speak with anyone! (Oh well maybe next time.) Plenty of on street parking, good residential neighborhood close to York area as indicated. I would stay again. Don’t expect a 5 star experience and you won’t be disappointed. Perfect for my needs.
GGuest UserI was a bit nervous about staying here at first because of the reviews I've read. But the staff are actually nice and kind. I was surprised to see how clean the rooms were every day. I stayed in a six-female bedroom where the bathroom was only covered by a clear door and a curtain. It was not that comfortable, but it wasn't that bad too. I stayed there for a few days, and I can honestly say that I had a really decent stay. It is near everywhere, too, especially to a street car and easily accessible from and to the airport. The only concern that I can share is the bunk beds being too noisy or shaky when someone moves. It had woken me up a few times. But this isn't something that has affected me much. So overall, it was a good stay.
GGuest UserThe room was OK, but no one cleaned it after four days of stay. Consumables were only given after asking for them. It was very noisy near the highway.
There was free coffee and snacks, and the attitude of the front desk staff was average.
GGuest UserThe reception was very helpful to wait for my check in even I could come to the hotel in the mid night. She can also provide helping hand for allowing me to leave the luggage there for a couple of hours after checked out.
TTravel CatToronto is a beautiful city, I would visit again, but probably would choose another hotel. The location is wonderful, within walking distance to many places like Kensington market, Chinatown, and Harborfront. Our room looked out onto the Toronto sign in Nathan Phillips square, Eaton Centre shopping mall is less than a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is not conventional, it is a student dorm for University of Toronto students, you are staying in a college dorm room. The room is spacious but the amenities are old, basic and outdated. Parking is not included, underground parking garages are available around the hotel for about 26 CAD/day. Breakfast is self-serve in the cafeteria, it’s good enough to fill you up but the food is nothing special.

AAlmiraI probably have under estimated this hotel.
All my expectations are met, they are very accommodating, we arrived almost 2 hours early than the check in time, but they still made sure that me and my husband are comfortable while waiting a bit. It’s a total value for the money, location is right at the center of all the action, CN tower, Rogers Center, Scotia Center are all right beside the building. There’s a supermarket right across like 2 minutes walk. The building is very safe, very descent area. Cleanliness is super, we arrived squeaky clean they placed extra toiletries, some condiments for cooking, soaps, cooking utensils are all complete.
I’d definitely recommend this property to all sorts of traveller. And will definitely come back and stay in the future.
Kuddos to everyone. All the best.
SSeow Hui MinGood place near a lot of local locations. Recommended. Front door is hard to find, only has a white piece of paper on it indicating the name of the inn. Staff is helpful and let us leave our bags in the office early before checking in.
Some minor technical difficulties with the room door but overall not a big problem. Wifi sometimes a tiny bit slow but functional. Didn’t manage to take a photo of the room, but online it said it had a stove but there was no stove in the actual room.
SSteveWas what I expected, a dorm style room with hard beds. Not complaining for the price we paid. A little cool in our basement room until we figured to block the gap in the door with a towel. Location was very convenient as I had an event at York U. Fairly quiet. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. Overall 4 out of 5 rating.
