I start with the good things. Everyone was friendly and the room was large with a very nice view of the CN tower. The hotel accommodated my request to change from a double bed room to a king size bed room on a upper floor. However, there were many issues with my stay. First, the pool area is in poor condition and the inside patio area has a very dirty rug and the furniture is beat down. The rug and furniture are such easy fixes. Second, the room service is the most disappointing. The online order form didn't work to preorder breakfast and there is no phone to reach anyone about it. The service button on the phones in the room do not work! Also room service offers very limited food choices and very limited time spans during which you can order. Except for a few items (creme brulée, french onion soup) the breakfast items selection and taste was disappointing. Third, the TV movie on demand service worked only sporadically. The hotel did remove the movie charge from my bill. Finally, although everything was clean and the bed was made everyday, for some reason the coffee/tea amenities I used daily were not replenished (even after I made the request) and the bed skirt was so winkled it looked like it was left wet in a drying machine... I stayed at this hotel because my daughter has a reward program with Hilton. I will not return to this hotel. For similar prices, amenities and location perks, there are much better options in Toronto.
