"There was a special feature on hot springs with a special feel, and this hot spring was featured, so I took a bus from Jomo Kogen. I thought that everyone was coming by car and we were the only ones on the bus when we came and left. This inn is located deep in the mountains and has the feel of a hidden hot spring, and the mixed bathing Houshi-no-yu has a nice atmosphere. The room had nice tiles and lighting in the sink. The food was not typical of a meal deep in the mountains, but the Joshu Beef Plan was delicious. Taking care of the meals was also very helpful and made me feel good."

"We had an amazing and relaxing stay! We truly loved it and had a wonderful night surrounded by serene nature. The view was absolutely beautiful — the lake is just right in front of the hotel! The place is spotless and very well maintained. But what truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. A big shoutout to Mr. Ozu, the General Manager, for going the extra mile with his thoughtfulness! When he learned that we were heading to the ropeway the next day (and that there were no bus trips on weekdays), he kindly offered us a ride. He was also genuinely concerned about our hike and overall safety — so heartwarming! Since we didn’t get the dinner package and there was only one restaurant nearby that closed at 4 p.m., we decided to get a takeout for dinner. My friend also asked if there was a nearby café to buy a cake for my birthday, but there wasn’t any. Later that evening, after we came back from the onsen, someone knocked on our door and surprised us with a complimentary cake! They said it was because we didn’t have dinner and they wanted to celebrate my birthday. Awwww! Such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! 🎂💖 In the morning, Mr. Ozu even gave us taxi numbers and the bus schedule for Yumoto Onsen, making sure our travel plans went smoothly. Truly amazing hospitality — we felt so cared for and appreciated throughout our stay! 🌿✨"

"What impressed me most was the excellent breakfast and dinner! I highly recommend staying at this onsen hotel when visiting Gunma. The main dish for dinner was sukiyaki, which was delicious, and each dish was prepared with great care. The food here is really tasty! This time, I stayed in a room with a private open-air onsen bath. The onsen quality here is very high; the spring water isn't heated, allowing you to soak while enjoying the view of Mount Tanigawa. The service was impeccable in every detail, including specially provided pajamas and decaffeinated roasted tea served at night. The next morning, you can also enjoy complimentary coffee while admiring Mount Tanigawa again."

"This lodging exceeded my expectations. The entire building seems to have been carefully designed and thought out. It's thoroughly organized and clean, and even simple tools like a single flower or leaf convey a certain charm. There are quite a few stink bugs, but they take care of them by putting medicine on the windows, and if you call they'll take care of it, so even people who can't stand bugs should be fine. It's not expensive, so it's good value for money. It's close to Oze, making it a convenient place to stay at the end of a walking tour of Oze. However, be aware that nearby restaurants are far away and close early."

"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 30th year of employment. The first thing that impressed us was the dinner we had upon arrival. The sashimi platter, braised Shimonita pork, a small hotpot of conger eel, grilled sweetfish, and stone-grilled Joshu beef sirloin were all delicious. My wife, who is usually quiet, commented, "I feel like I'm enjoying the most delicious beef I've ever had in my life." The room was also cozy and spacious, like a living room. The view from the window and the sound of the babbling river were soothing. The hot spring water left my skin feeling smooth, and the view from the open-air bath, surrounded by the forest and the sound of the river, created wonderful memories for us. On the way back, we stopped off at Doai Station, Japan's most popular mole station, which I'd always wanted to visit, and it was a fun trip. I'd like to return in a different season.
