Hotel dekat Ueno, Tokyo

The location is excellent, and the facilities are well-maintained. However, it was a bit inconvenient that the elevator only stops on the 1st and 3rd floors, making access to the 2nd floor confusing. Additionally, the morning noise from the staff preparing their duties was slightly disruptive. It would be great to address these issues for a more seamless stay.

Very clean, spacious, the biggest room I got so far for single occupancy, able to open my suitcase n still got space to walk around comfortably. Very convenient just 7 mins walk to/from Ueno station or 4 mins to/from Okachimachi station. Kensei Skyliner to Narita airport just short walk from Ueno station. Good for last min shopping at Ameyoko Street (Uniqlo/GU, supermarket, Daiso, Donki, etc). Delicious & affordable Chirashi Don Sushi bowl (must have). They also catered free half portion ramen at night, yakult & ice sticks after Onsen (manga at the entertainment room). Definitely will stay again.

Room size is very small but understandable since it is situated right inside Ueno walking street area. Although the small room, we found it to be very clean and well maintained. The best thing for this place is its location. Very near the Kaisei-skyliner and JR Ueno station. The area is full of delicious restaurants and late night Izakaya places. Would stay here again if I visit Tokyo again.

Very good location, not far from KEISEI skyline station (to Narita), close to a lot of subway line and JR, close to Ameyoko market, Uniqlo, Takeya. Very easy to shop, to eat and to go. Has microwave and washing machine. Clean room, quiet and no smell. Provide full of amenities and towels (change everyday). Able to deposit bag before check in and after check out. Has enough space for medium opened luggage and small opened luggage (compare to other hotel in Ueno, it has no enough space to fully open luggage). Next trip, if I go to Tokyo, I will stay here.

The location of the hotel is super good. A lot of station around there, 1 mins to JR Okachimachi station, 5 mins to Ueno station. Ameyoko is very near hotel also. After check-in on 2nd floor, you may choose type of pillows and amenity. You may enjoy free coffee and chocolate during your stay which hotel provides. Room is quite small with locked air-con. It only provides heat but no cool. Guests cannot adjust the temperature. We can accepts in winter but not sure whether it provides cool in the summer.

Relatively new hotel with modern decor. Really liked the vibes/design of the hotel and room. We found the room pretty spacious for Tokyo, def enough space to open two luggage. Under 10 min walk from JR Ueno (plus no need to climb stairs) so that was good for us with the luggage. Hotel is on the less bustling side of Ueno, but still very convenient for us to access the busy Ameyoko side of Ueno. We didn’t dine there but we always saw lots of locals dining at the lobby bistro, so I would think it must be pretty good.

Location is good, just opposite Ueno JR station and Metro is just right next to the hotel.  Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, very convenient.   The room is spacious and cozy compared with most of the hotels in Tokyo.   Friendly staff who offered free early check in for us.  This is the second time I stay in this hotel, sure will stay again for my next visit to Tokyo.

There are staff at the counter, which is very convenient! The location is close to the subway and quiet at night. There is also a small kitchen and a washing machine which are super convenient; it is suitable for families to go to the supermarket to buy things and cook them later. It’s great!

i love it so much here in this hotel. i would say it’s convenien for muslim tourists to stay here since it’s really close to halal restos and konbini. wagyu panga is literally 2 mins walking from the hotel. alao halal ramen spots are within a few minutes of walking. super clean, change our towels and pyjamas everyday. really kind staffs and room is quite spacious can fit in 2 big luggages. overall recommended!

My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it was our favorite place that we stayed during our 3 week trip to Japan. It has some of the largest rooms at a very reasonable mid-range price for Tokyo and it really feels like a four-star hotel. The rooms are still small, but they're definitely more spacious than you're going to find anywhere else at this price range. We really liked the buffet breakfast that was served in the restaurant downstairs every morning. The room is very clean and the shower is a separate room from the toilet and sink area, and the toilet fan works very well. The shower was high enough for my 195 cm partner to be able to shower without crouching, not that small, and had high water pressure and hot water. The hotel staff were very helpful with any questions, the gym had to be reserved for an hour block to be used and only allowed one person at a time, despite being just a block in from the busy Asakusa area, it was very quiet there. One thing that was strange to us was the many, many girls dressed in maid outfits standing on the main street (not outside the hotel) mostly in the evening. It took a while but we finally learned that they are advertising maid cafes or similar style cafes. None of the outfits are particularly provocative and the girls never tried to hand us a flyer since we always walked together, but if you will be male and walking around alone you can expect them to try to hand flyers to the cafes to you, but it's not that bothersome at all. The Asakusa area is known for it's technology and gaming stores, so expect to see a lot of those around. The subway stations are very close by and easy to get to, and the area is extremely safe. Both there and on the rest of our trip we never felt in danger at any point. We both have dietary restrictions that make eating in Japan challenging or extremely limiting at best, and the breakfast had plenty of options that allowed us to fill up and make it until dinnertime before needing another full meal. I am gluten-free, and while some of the rotating breakfast items had gluten, a lot of them didn't. There were eggs and bacon every morning which are an easy win for me, and the different foods are labelled with the broadest allergens (wheat, dairy, egg, etc.) but aren't specific with the ingredients beyond that, such as corn.
