We stopped at Cloud Tiwi Restaurant inside the Tiwi Sunrise Hotel as part of a tour and enjoyed a buffet-style lunch. The food was excellent, with a nice variety of dishes that were fresh and flavorful. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The restaurant, hotel lobby, and washroom facilities were all very clean and well-maintained. My only complaint is that the restaurant was not fully air-conditioned, so while some tables were comfortable, others were quite warm. This hotel & restaurant is in a good location across from the ocean. It also has a lovely clean pool. I would look at staying here if we come back on a solo trip!

While the hotel is fine and across from a rocky beach (and very cold pool), I gave it one star because of the worst meals on the 14th day of our tours. Dinner: tuna so overcooked and luke warm that is was inedible; chicken overcooked and dry. The pasta might have been good had it not been sitting out (and we ate early) and was not hot. The vegetables were okay. Breakfast was dreadful. “Omelets”had been sitting out so long they were inedible as was true of what I guess was meant to be French toast. Bread was packaged (slightly better than Wonderbread). I have no idea what the sugary drink was meant to be but not fruit juice. The only fruit was tired apples. Our group wanted to go to a MacDonald’s down the road rather than suffer lunch with this hotel.

Excellent location, comfortable rooms and superb hospitality. The hotel is located right at the beach with most of its rooms facing the beach and gives you an opportunity to experience sunrise. The chef and the staff made us experience sunrise and sunset by the beach, indulging us in Arabic delicacies. Hotel has a swimming pool , restaurant and cater to a lot of global travellers. The location, food, views and the hospitality makes it a perfect choice for an experiential travel.

The rooms were huge, and clean. But the bathrooms were boiling. Despite that there was no hot water. The door handle fell off when I touched it. Plug socket didn’t work. WiFi didn’t work. Hotel wasn’t able to take card payments as machines weren’t working, and we had to nip back the next day to sort. Didn’t stay for breakfast so can’t comment on that. Easy to find and easy parking. Right on the ocean, which was nice.

We didn’t actually stay or eat at the hotel but I must call out Rafi who was unbelievably kind to us. We had run out of cash and there is no ATM within miles of nearby Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi. We asked in the hotel if we could use a card in exchange for cash. The hotel didn’t have any cash but Rafi suggested we rode with him in our car to his friends place in the nearby village who gave him so cash. We then went back to the hotel and completed the transaction. What a star! We are then able to visit Wadi Shab

The place is clean, airy, nice and wide rooms, excellent location and very good service. I would not go for their food options, since there are very good restaurants in town that serve a wide variety of dishes at great prices. *********** charges higher prices than this place's dedicated internet site. The only thing is that the shower, which is quite convenient, is not separated in the bathroom, so you end up flooding the whole place. However, it gets dry quickly due to the weather.

I would definitely recommend this spot. It's a great location to stay at if you are going to Wadi Tiwi or Wadi Shab. The staff are super helpful. The rooms provide exactly what you need and are easy to access. It's right next to the ocean and mountains. So beautiful.

The hotel is very well located if you want to visit Wadi Shab, Wadi Tiwi and Bimmah Sinkhole. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic and could need some renovations. However, you’ll get good value for the price. We can recommend to stay at Tiwi Sunrise.
