Aeolos Bay Tinos

Loved it! Great location, wonderful service, good breakfast. We loved our stay!:)

The hotel is in an excellent location about 10 minute walk from the main town. It is opposite a beach with nice views. We booked a junior suite with a sea view (via a Tour Operator). Not much ‘suite’ about it but it was acceptable. More pool /side sea view than sea view but better than overlooking the street at the back of the hotel. The room had a large double bed, a fridge, chairs, table, TV and full length mirror. There are no enclosed wardrobe spaces, just open hanging areas and shelves. There is a safe, which did not work. The balcony was small by ok with two chairs and small table. The bathroom was very dark, internal with no windows and offered a strange walk in shower that looked like it had been carved from faux rock. Whilst it was was cleaned it didn’t feel it due to the paint colours used an off white grey colour. Small hairdryer in bathroom - again OK if you are not looking to do any great hairstyling. The room needs updating but air con good and room cleaned daily and quite early. Plentiful hot water. There is not much around the property but we found a small mini market a couple of roads behind the hotel which did not show on Google maps. The hotel has two lifts. Again quite dated but were out of use one morning due to ongoing power cuts. The public areas are again tired and ‘messy’ with electric bikes charging by the bar. The bar did snacks and drinks but the as not fully manned and the hotel bar closed at 20:00. Bar food and drinks acceptable, but the menu reduced towards the end of the week. The pool bar was closed for the whole week of our stay. Breakfast is basic and you can sit outside on the terrace. It was exceptionally busy during our stay with a bus tour and lots of pushing and shoving to get the last piece of bread! The pool is again acceptable. Salt water. Ranging from about a metre to 2.5 metres. Relatively quiet during our stay other than the local children who were allowed to fine in and use the pool in the afternoon. The noise was unbearable pure screaming and any chance of reading and enjoying a relaxing afternoon was not possible. The hotel should think carefully about the satisfaction of their guests first. Not that many sun beds but they were comfortable with food fixed parasols. A shower is available and there are toilets. The area again is OK but needs a good clean. Drinks and coffee has been spilt and not cleaned up. Staff were responsive and friendly and assisted if asked for help. The positives are definitely location but the hotel could be excellent with a little attention.

We stayed her for four nights in August. I booked a standard triple room . If our room was standard I dread to think what an economy room was like. Our room whilst clean was very basic, two people couldn't pass one another. The balcony was tiny 3 of you could not sit outside and you would have to get the door open first. Breakfast was very poor cheap pastries and nasty coffee. We didn't go in the pool there was a constant area of scum which staff frequently removed surely better to fix the issue. The pool man was convinced it was suncream. There seemed to be too many staff and the service was not good. Positives good location and lunch was pretty good

Nice hotel, with comfortable and clean premises. The employees very pleasant, kind and willing to provide good services. The location is really convenient, around 5' from the center. The breakfast was in a medium level.... more options/dishes should be added in the future. Fully recommended if you visit Tinos island!

Με το που μπαίνουμε στο δωμάτιο αντικρίζουμε ένα μικροσκοπικό χώρο που οριακά μπορούσαμε να αφήσουμε τα πράγματα. Μετά από 1-2 ώρες το κλιματιστικό άρχισε να στάζει στο κεφάλι μας με ένα μαύρο βρώμικος υγρό. Το ίδιο βράδυ ενώ παρακαλούσαμε να μας αλλάξουν δωμάτιο είδαμε και 2 κατσαρίδες. Ενώ ότι κάνανε πολύ αργοπορημένα εν τέλη μας άλλαξαν δωμάτιο. Την επόμενη μέρα μπαίνει αιφνιδιαστικά ένας υπεύθυνος και μας διώχνει να πάμε στο παλιό δωμάτιο λέγοντας ότι έφτιαξαν όλα. Αλλάξαμε και δεν έφτιαξαν τίποτα και είχαμε την ίδια χάλια εμπειρία για το υπόλοιπο της ημέρας μας έχοντας στο περίμενε για 6-7 ώρες. Ηταν ένα απόλυτο χάος με πολύ αγενές και προσωπικό χωρίς καθόλου όρεξη.

Άθλιο φαγητό ,δωμάτια ούτε 10 τετραγωνικών για 3ατομα , επικίνδυνες τουαλέτες για ατύχημα και γενικώς ανεπίτρεπτο σε θέμα ασφάλειας για τα παιδιά!!! Η κράτηση έγινε στο όνομα της ομάδας ποδοσφαίρου που είχαμε έρθει για το Τίνος τουρνουά!!!
