I am told this is the best hotel on the island and it seemed like it. Very new and well designed. The service was good and the views were fantastic. The road is now paved so it wasn't difficult to get there. It is about 12 to 15 minutes to town. I received a nice upgrade with my suite upgrades with Marriott which was great.

Odera Athenos is a truly spectacular hotel. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and this one is uniquely beautiful, elegant, and tastefully designed. The beach and views are stunning, the breakfast is lovely, and the restaurant is genuinely delicious. However, there were some service-related hiccups. The air conditioning is locked at 22°C, which some may find fine, but I found it too warm, and staff didn’t offer a solution. Room service breakfast took over 50 minutes. One disturbing moment was when a guest was bleeding from the nose into the main pool, and instead of being helped inside, staff displaced my belongings from my sunbed to accommodate him. It felt far from five-star handling. Getting there is easy, but I’d recommend renting a car, as taxis are €25 one way. Despite a few flaws, the overall experience was wonderful and the hotel is worth visiting.

The hotel is recently built and well-designed: common areas, such as the breakfast area, enjoy spectacular views of the bay below, with a private beach exclusively for guests. Access to the beach is facilitated by a buggy service. Behind the beach is a restaurant where you can have lunch without having to return to the main building. Even the greenery surrounding the hotel reveals careful design, clearly carried out by professionals. Our room, overlooking the shared pool, offered a beautiful view and spacious spaces, including a veranda with chairs, a small table, and a double bed for sunbathing. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. So far, the positives. The negatives relate to the management, which is perhaps not yet well-established after only one season since opening: the television in the room didn't work for two whole days before being fixed despite frequent reminders (which meant we missed the Wimbledon final). After two days of our stay, the housekeeping staff simply stopped tidying the room for the night. Even in this case, we had to complain. Although the restaurant and beach staff were mostly young (a highly commendable and unusual fact for us Italians), we noticed a certain aloofness and difficulty showing empathy (they don't always say hello and there's little attention). Conclusion: a beautiful facility (I would return), but it requires staff training and greater supervision from management to reach the level of a true 5-star hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Odera Tinos, Autograph Collection. The location is truly stunning, with breathtaking views that made every moment special. Our room was impeccably clean and beautifully designed, creating a peaceful and luxurious retreat. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional throughout our stay. A special thanks to Vicky at the reception, whose warm welcome and thoughtful assistance set the tone for a perfect holiday. Absolute amazing time at this world class resort. The signature private pool suite was amazing. Probably the most beautiful hotel room we have stayed at. Service was amazing. Food was equally as good. The private beach was beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A+ in service, accommodations and environment. Would definitely come back.

We booked this hotel due to the fantastic marketing email from Marriott, it looked like a gem. When we arrived at the property, we were met by staff who took our cases and car to be parked… Entering the room, the air conditioning simply wasn’t working to cool the room, we’d had a hot boat trip and wanted to shower, change and explore the facilities - but our cases didn’t arrive for another 2 hours, despite phone calls to reception. We waited for staff to fix the air con, but were then told it was down to us… it simply didn’t work, this was the third hotel we’d stayed in our our trip and the air con was by far the least effective. Location wise, it was down a dirt track which was more like a route for 4x4 adventures than to a top class hotel. The food was disappointing and the pool was not inviting. It really didn’t deliver on the Greek hospitality we’d experienced elsewhere. The receptionist, who was a professor is an asset to the Marriott team, and while some staff were friendly, it just was way below the standard we’ve experienced at other hotels in the chain. Our request to upgrade to a plunge pool room was met with a ridiculously high price quoted, when if our room had been of the standard expected, we’d not have asked to change. Despite raising complaints politely, none of the issues were rectified. I’d recommend saving your money and staying at a different hotel on Tinos, it’s a wonderful island, but this is not worth the stay.

The location is breathtaking, with stunning sea views and easy access to a pristine, relaxing beach. Excellent hotel with a nice view. We had a room with shared pool access which was nice. The beach was very relaxing. Food was excellent overall : nice breakfast buffet, lunch by the beach and dinner at night (all options were nice). Staff was friendly overall.

A wonderful, scenic and peaceful location. The pool is amazing as is the beach (with super helpful staff). The rooms were spotlessly clean with super housekeeping service. This was the first season so a few things obviously need to be ironed out but nothing that detracted from a great stay. Note that the road to hotel from the main road is little more than a rutted track and learned that not all taxis are willing to use it. No doubt this will be improved with time. The food at breakfast and at the restaurant was excellent with charming service.
