A hairdryer is available.Attractions in surrounding of Timmendorf: Timmendorfer Strand is situated at the 'shore' of the lovely landscape of the so called Holsteinische Schweiz. This landscape is characterized by numerous lakes, a charming hill-scenery with large forests where the visitor can enjoy friendly small villages, enjoy flat sand beaches, but also can see steep cliffs of the Lübecker Bucht. Pretty little towns with affectionate buildings like Plön, Eutin, Ratzeburg or Travemünde compete with the old hanseatic city of Lübeck, where you can enjoy exceptional sight seeing impressions you will not forget like its impressive churches, the Holstentor and the wonderfull houses. In the nearst environment (no more than one hour by car) you will find the great harbours of Hamburg and Kiel. If you follow the highway A1 in the direction to Fehmarn the landscape begins to get more flat and soon you will see the imposing arc of the Fehmarnsund bridge.
