"The room was very small, other than that, the place was fine.   I am presuming the sauna was an extra fee, I didn’t enquire.  Shouldn’t be listed as an amenity if so. It didn’t appear to be in working order in my stay."

"Upon arrival I waited at least 5-10 minutes for someone to come to reception. I was then asked to pay. I had already paid. Someone had to be called to check this. The room was far from clean. There was still trash and a sock from the previous hotel guest. When checking out, the airport shuttle was completely unknown, although this is indicated in the hotel information. The breakfast was laughable. Hardly any options. For a 4 star hotel this is really absurdly bad. Definitely not worthy of an NH hotel. For 100+ euros for one night, compared to other 4 star hotels I stayed in this week, this was the worst."

"I want to start off saying hotel staff were helpful and kind. We checked in and got our things in the room and headed out for sightseeing. We had closed the windows and turned the air on. When we returned, the room was hot and the room smelled like a sewer. The front desk immediately changed us to another room. We kept the bathroom room closed and the bathroom window open, so it did not get too stinky in the new room. But the bathroom filled with bugs by morning. Not only did the new room not get cool the whole night, but it was unreasonably hot. In the morning, hotel staff offered another room change, but we decided to go to another hotel. The room itself is fine. There was plenty of room. Beds was comfortable, but chairs were not. Mini bar was well stocked, but fridge was not cold, so the drinks were room temp. "

Mercure Timisoara

"City centre location if that’s your thing. No real atmosphere as the bar and restaurant were pretty much empty. My room was clean and comfortable, with no complaints. The decor though was very tacky bling in style, which was evident throughout the public areas. Not offensive, but definitely amusing. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and there was safe onsite parking for my motorcycle."

"The parking lot needed to be opened by the host , so communication is important :) Other than that - nice location with plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby!"

"Since it's self-check-in, please call in advance to confirm. The parking lot and facilities are good. Except for the screen windows that don't close properly...^^ And the front is fine. There are no large buildings nearby, and I was assigned to the top floor... I remember the sunset being especially beautiful... There's also a supermarket about a 5-minute walk away. The road is a bit dark, though."
