This was our twelfth stay at Holly Lodge and once again it was absolutely perfect. The staff are amazing and just can't do enough for you. We arrived between 3.00 and 4.00 and were greeted with a "'welcome back, it's lovely to see you again." After 4.00 you let yourself in with via a key safe. We've stayed in every room bar one and once again we booked Ivy which is our favourite but the accomodation in every room is of such an exceptionally high standard, I would challenge anyone to find better. Holly Lodge is ideally located within easy reach of all the attractions on the North Norfolk Coast and is about 20 minutes inland from the coast. We're already looking forward to our next stay for the Thursford Spectacular Christmas Show . If you're looking for high quality, comfortable accomodation then look no further than Holly Lodge.

Holly Lodge is a B&B, but probably unlike any you'll have visited before. It's tastefully and thoughtfully furnished and decorated, and our stay in Juniper was comfortable and the breakfast was great, It's high-end in terms of cost, but truly worth it for a special occasion. A particular mention must go to the small team who provided the warmest of welcomes, and the friendliest of service during our stay - especially Natalie (I hope I remembered the correct name) who is a tremendous ambassador for Holly Lodge, and deserving of recognition for effortlessly going well beyond usual customer service levels.

A place to completely relax and restore. Beautiful room, spotlessly clean with everything you need and topped off with the comfiest bed we have ever slept in. The breakfast was outstanding in an air conditioned conservatory, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay for our son's wedding. We stayed in the Holly Room, with the fabulous roll top bath, whilst our guests stayed in Mistletoe. The whole experience was fabulous, lovely staff, great breakfast, ease of use of the site - all made it a fantastic trip. Thank you.

We stayed in the 3 cottages next to the main house for 2 nights as our daughter was getting married at Thursford Pavillion the next day. The accommodation was beautiful with a well stocked welcome tray (including wine, fresh milk and an espresso machine) and lovely smelling toiletries in the bathroom. The friendly staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was top notch and it was cooked freshly for you to your exact requirements. Our daughter’s make up and hairstylist were able to work in the conservatory and her photographer and wedding coordinator had free rein to come and go as needed. Definitely recommend for a wedding and also ideal for a mini break surrounded by quiet countryside with lovely walks. Thank you so much to everyone.

We booked Holly Lodge B and B for the 6th December 2024 as we were going to the Thursford Christmas spectacular. It's literally a 2 minute walk to the show. It was absolutely lovely the staff were so warm and friendly to us the room was lovely bed was comfy and the breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend it especially if your going to the show

Holly lodge is simply the best. I’ve stayed at many hotels and this beats them all. Myself and partner stayed in the Holly room. There simply are no words for how amazing the room was. It is beautifully decorated and very sophisticated. Whoever designed the room clearly has an eye for detail. I have never seen a place so spotlessly clean either and the grounds are very well maintained. The full English breakfast was delicious and if that’s not your sort of thing, there’s an excellent choice of pastries, cereal and fruit. The staff are all so lovely. Very friendly and genuinely interested in there guests. Honestly cannot rate Holly lodge enough. Have booked already for next year. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Attending Thursford Christmas Spectacular my sister booked Holly Lodge. The greeting was warm and welcoming showing us what was where and how breakfast operated. The room we had Claret was immaculate, tidy, clean and very well appointed. It was all very comfortable and clean. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was just excellent and will certainly be back. Breakfast was brilliant the ladies serving were superb and again very welcoming. I imagine in the summer it would be a fantastic location to explore and the grounds look great for sitting out. We will certainly be back. Well done housekeeping, you are excellent. Well done breakfast ladies, you were superb. My only comment would be it would be nice to have a fridge. But that's a minor. Lovely establishment.

From the personal welcome when we parked up to the well organised room key retrieval, breakfast selection, lovely welcoming staff in the kitchen each morning, great selection of hot and cold drinks in the room (IVY - main house), heated bathroom flooring, blackout blinds, big comfy bed, self control heating, fan for hotter nights or air conditioning. Just perfection.
