Wolfwood Guest Ranch

Really enjoyed our one night at Wolfwood. The cabin was so homely with lots of personal touches and local history. The humming birds were a real highlight. A warm welcome and nice breakfast included. Would highly recommend.

I've found my new 'happy place'. This last summer we spent a week at the Woolfwood Guest Ranch with family, and all I can say is wow. What a much needed soul restoring getaway. The setting is exceptional. It has to be experienced. From cozy nights around the firepit, to watching the mist roll over the lake at sunrise, this truly is a magical place. We stayed in Alder lodge, and it was just how I imagined. The mix of old embracing new, made this old settlers lodge both a unique AND comfortable stay. The decor was so well done. Every where we looked there was something new to discover. The kids loved it. Our favorite part was the lake a short walk from our cabin. After a hot day exploring the local waterfalls and hiking, coming 'home' for a refreshing dip was exactly the medicine our tired muscles needed. The food was delicious, with something for everyone. We got quite used to having breakfast delivered to our door each day, and sure missed that when we came home! Dinner was also delicious. The salmon melted in your mouth. The hosts are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Their children were polite and loved to share what they knew about their land and their life. We loved getting to interact with their friendly pets as well. You really do end up feeling part of the family. Clearwater is such a gorgeous place to explore. Within a short drive of the ranch are world class waterfalls, excellent lakes for fishing and kayaking. We will definitely be returning to spend more time at the Wolfwood Guest Ranch as soon as we can! Once you pass Clearwater BC in Canada,you enter the Wells Gray Park. A place to do lots of hiking and falls heaven. MOUL Falls is a must all the way down to the bottom and rear. But an amazing Guest Ranch with great hosts. The cabin was superb. Lots of details and charming in all what you see and enjoy. An unforgettable lake to swim or kayak.... Shame that it is far away and you donkt usually come twice as far as from Europe. But if in the area Wolf Wood Guest Ranch is the place

Lovely cabin, we were in the 2 bedroom it was huge very comfortable, the location is extremely quiet lovely grounds to walk around and explore. Lovely owners, great service both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Great for exploring Wells Gray Park, we wish we had booked 2 nights but I had our whole trip planned and could not change it. I would 100% recommend Wolf wood for getting away from it all.

In the middle of wells gray national park there’s this cute little ranch, with the friendliest hosts. The cabins are absolutely beautiful and lovely decorated, in a more rustic style. Enjoy oma’s home cooked breakfast and dinner with fresh produce from their farm. You can even accompany them, while they are feeding their chickens, ducks, goats and alpacas in the morning (very cute). After petting the alpacas you can make your morning even better by going for a swim in their little lake, canoe or kayak there. It is a little drive from clearwater, but the peace you get on this ranch will definitely make up for it. They even have lots of bard games in the cabins, so you can have a fun family game night to end your day, or spend your evening by the firepit. Here you are surrounded by lots of water, meadow and lovely animals, such as dogs, cats, chickens and ducks, which roam around freely on the ranch. Cooking is a little challenge, but they have a microwave and a barbecue available, but i also recommend getting omas homecooked dinner. We absolutely loved our stay here and wished we never had to leave. But at least i got to take home some adorable, handcrafted souvenirs, as well as homemade jams and syrups, they offer a lot more, at a reasonable (almost cheap) price though.

After a 6 hour drive from Whistler we wanted to relax somewhere to recharge our batteries and this place ticked all the boxes. The cabin was very clean and comfortable (we were in Fir) and the evening meal was really delicious. We enjoyed chilling out and watching the hummingbirds fly around our terrace. The owners are super friendly and will aim to make you feel really welcome. They even made us a birthday cake…which was delicious! Same applies to the 3 very friendly dogs who come and say hello. Great choice!
