My recent stay at this 5-star hotel was pleasant overall, thanks to its excellent amenities and impressive infrastructure. However, there is room for improvement in the areas of hospitality and customer engagement, especially with the reservation team. I had arranged for airport pickup, but the process turned out to be more stressful than it should have been. I had to make multiple calls to confirm the arrangement and ensure the chauffeur would assist with luggage. Each time, the person answering seemed unaware of prior discussions, and I had to repeat the details, which was frustrating. Despite repeated follow-ups, it took them over two hours to share the vehicle and chauffeur contact details. Although the driver was eventually at the arrival hall with a placard as promised, receiving the vehicle number and contact information beforehand is crucial for a seamless experience, especially in case of delays or difficulties locating the chauffeur. While the hotel excels in amenities and facilities, a 5-star experience extends beyond infrastructure—it requires proactive and attentive customer engagement. Improved communication, better coordination, and a more empathetic approach from the reservation team would elevate the hospitality experience to match the high standards of the hotel.
