Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa

It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience. The hotel was very wonderful, the location was beautiful, and the food was plentiful and delicious. We tried the steak and Spanish restaurant, and the breakfast restaurant was excellent in terms of food and staff service. The employees were always at our service and very nice and did not complain about our many requests. Rather, in the evening they welcomed us and fulfilled our requests even at a late hour. All thanks and gratitude to Ali, Albert and Aisha.

My wife and I have literally returned home today following a 2 week holiday to the Le Mèridian Resort and Spa. initially when it was booked I was a little sceptical as to whether I would be bored after the first week. Would this be an another ‘typical beach holiday. where the details are usually pretty forgettable after a few months. I can say without doubt that this resort is simply unbelievable. We have both been very fortunate over our ‘many years of travel’ to visit some very impressive places. This resort works on so many levels and is superior to many we have previously been to. Firstly, everyone knows how beautiful the Maldives are. Thilamuafushi island is breathtaking. We took the sea plane from Male to the resort. For anyone that has any worries about how you get to the plane following a long international flight , well don’t have , it was seamless. they are very good at this. they do it everyday and the resort rep met us and did evert]think for us. our bags were taken and where put in our room at the resort and we didn’t have to lift a finger and that was a great start. The views were breathtaking from the sea plane and a large surrounding reef exists around the island which is only waist high when the tide is and it provides an abundance of sea life literally within ‘touching distance’. This extends out onto the ‘house reef’ where I embarked upon a 3 day diving course. The diving centre here is exceptional as is the quality of instructors. Hayden was my instructor and I have to say she was simply brilliant. I was new to diving prior to this and she showed me the large coral reefs with a vast array of fish, Manta rays, sting rays, small sharks, moray eels, lobsters. Her attention to detail is beyond reproach and I learned an incredible amount. She makes it fun and entertaining at the same time. In addition to the diving there is a great variety of other water sports available., sailing, water skiing jet skiing, snorkelling (and all the equipment is provided free for the duration of your stay). Now get this, Hayden even takes people diving who can’t otherwise swim ??. I saw her do this - incredible.Such is the confidence she inspires into people. We even embarked upon a late afternoon dolphin cruise which was educational and very enjoyable and we saw many dolphins. There really are many things for many people to enjoy. Secondly: the staff here are simply brilliant. I cannot overstate this enough. I know the manager and his sub managers work very hard on this aspect. They truly want everyone to feel special. All clients I spoke to couldn’t praise the staff highly enough, You would think this may come across as a little insincere, not at all; and this is the genius to the whole concept. You are made to feel like a ‘star’ and part of a big family. This is done with such sincerity by ALL staff. We thought ourselves very privileged to listen to and share stories of the staffs families and they would equally listen to our own with

The resort was really great very big resort and great 4 restaurants, VELAA has the best steaks ever! and the sea is great for snorkelling. All the staff was really friendly and nice specially ali was very helpful we will really miss all staff and this wonderful resort you will never be bored there it’s Amazing!

It was a very great experience to stay in le meridian resort . The staff were very helpful and kindly. the resort was very nice and very relaxed I recommend anyone plan to visit maldives to stay on le meridian even the price was not to much expensive so i was very happy in le meridian.

Need to upgrade buggy service Need more restaurants but the food is very delicious in every restaurant There should be a place for gaming indoor like billiards or play station to have fun after 1800 and a coffee house Need to upgrade kids club have more activities and sport outdoor Water sports are perfect swimming pools are good Staff is very helpful and respectful Villa is clean Activities is well organized throughout the days Thank you for you hospitality me and my enjoyed being here i hope my review help you to be better and better

Coming to the Maldives we had high expectations on what to expect and Le Meridien definitely met and went above and beyond. The warmth of the staff combined with the luxurious resort has made this the best vacation that we have had so far. Coming during the off season also meant that we were very well taken care of by the team of enthusiastic associates who showed us lovely Maldivian hospitality. This memorable holiday would definitely make us want to come back again soon!

I can’t thank enough for all the staffs. We had a best trip ever in Le Meridian. The island is amazing, food is excellent, the room is fantastic. I even saw galaxy from our room! It is the sunset villa! The staffs are the most I love! They really made you like home! We stayed there for 6 days. I would like to thank all these staffs who I can recall. Environment: The resort has a fantastic sea view with Tiffany blue color,there are abundant fishes hanging around just under the water villa.The sea under the water villa is pretty safe and the depth is usually less than 2 meters. Room: The water villa has several symbolic Tiffany blue decorations to make the room look energetic and stylish.The bathtub owns uncovered sea views,and it's been a relaxing experience to bathe towards the wonderful sea. Service: Each employee shares a common company culture,which makes it easier to provide hospitable service.Each employee gives a welcoming greeting with a smiling face.I'd like to thank my butler Ali especially,who helped me find my lost bag,he's kindness and enthusiasm also make my journey more memorable. Food: Each restaurant holds a high standard on food,grilled beef,lamb,fish and wonderful burger and sandwich are all tasty.Employees of restaurant are also willing and prepared to provide a wonderful lunch/dinner.Besides, every restaurant has a Chinese menu to help Chinese tourists enjoy their meals.
