Bungalows Ivona

A big thank you to the skippers and camp staff for their effort and hospitality – the food was excellent and truly deserves praise! Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not meet expectations. The accommodation was far from ideal, but we were willing to overlook that because the surrounding nature is absolutely spectacular. However, the organization was well below any acceptable standard. The agreed tour (two days of rafting + an excursion to Durmitor) was not honored. Instead of the planned excursion, we were driven for 4 hours in rundown vans without any information about where we were, with three unnecessary stops just so the organizer could take photos for social media. The vehicles were in poor condition. Instead of fresh air, we were breathing diesel fumes that had spilled in the trunk, and the driver's behavior—refusing to open the window because he was cold—was rude and unprofessional. We were told we would change into our rafting gear and leave our personal belongings in the van, which would meet us at the end of the rafting trip. That didn’t happen. At the end of the rafting, we didn’t get access to our things as agreed. Instead, soaking wet, we were crammed into another rundown vehicle and driven another hour back to the camp. One of our team members injured their leg in the boat, and when we asked for first aid, we were rudely told we should have brought it ourselves. The final straw was when the owner of the camp literally yelled at me for putting the gear in the wrong place, and verbally assaulted me, telling me to "f* off**." The landscape is beautiful and the rafting itself is worth experiencing – but I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from Camp Ivona and the travel company 'Putuj svoje snove'.
