We had booked a room for 2 nights and the aircon in our room had started to leak. We informed the reception and they notified that they would get it sorted in the day and hence, we left our key with the hotel. To our surprise, upon our return, all our luggage had been shifted to another room WITHOUT OUR APPROVAL. A COURTESY CALL WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT BUT NO, JUST SHIFTING OUR LUGGAGE WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION SEEMED TOTALLY JUSTIFIED ! The staff keeps passing the blame and all I am left with is a number which does not pick up my calls. Never staying here again.

The Gold Town Tavua Hotel I knew in the 90s is totally different to the one I visited beginning of this year. The standard room is $100 with a small bed with worn out bed linens. The bathing towel looks like a second hand one! For the firsrlt 5 hours after I checked in, there was no water!🙄🙄🙄. Very Pathetic! You can relate the rest!!
