Excellent stay at this cute little place. Loved everything about this hotel including the breakfast, location, and scenic views. You can't beat this place for the price. It's also so close (within walking distance) to the Tasch railway station and parking is free. They even let me park for 3-4 hours for free after checking out while I visited Zermatt. The front desk girl (I forgot her name) was so nice and helpful giving me some great tips while I visited Zermatt. Wonderful experience overall.

Write it carefully for the convenience of friends who come later. Tasch is the town closest to Zermatt and is our first stop in Switzerland. We changed our minds temporarily and drove to Tasch at night. The town is not big, there are not many choices, and it feels not cheap. This hotel has the best value for money. I was quite nervous when I booked it, but it is actually quite good. The room is not big but not small. There is a bathtub and the bathroom is also OK. It is very warm and comfortable. The breakfast is similar to that of a four-star hotel in Italy. It has everything you need (although it has everything, I really want to eat fried dough sticks). Water is provided in the house, and there is a kettle downstairs. In short, I think the value for money is very good, and the scenery of the town is very good. The price is cheaper than Zermatt. It is very close to the station. Many people stay here and take the train to Zermatt to ski, because the train is also very convenient! The photo is next to the hotel, very beautiful

The hotel is very close to the Tasch train station. It is very convenient to go to Zermatt. There is free parking in the underground parking garage. The rooms and services are very good, but it is a little noisy near the roadside.

The room is a little small, but it has a bathtub. It's nice to take a bath on a cold day after walking for a day! Since I was traveling by car, I was a little worried about parking. The front desk was very proactive in helping me and the service was great! Breakfast is also very rich! Recommended!

1. The hotel is very close to the station, Tasch Station, one station away from Zermatt, every half an hour, and there is a bus after 10 pm. 2. The room is very large, with a separate bathroom and bathtub. 3. The breakfast is very rich Highly recommended.

The hotel is relatively old, and it is full of tourist groups.

An amazing breakfast! Perfect location. What got in the way a lot was the fire alarm that rang all night 🥴🤦🏻‍♂️

Lovely quirky hotel in Tasch, a short walk from the train station. Great staff, and breakfast was lovely. It was very good value for an overnight stay to catch a morning train for our onward journey. If I was planning a skiing holiday, I'd definitely look at Tasch and hotel Mountime.

The hotel is in a great location and close to the train station, we found that accommodation was cheaper in Tasche compared to zummat which is why we booked mountime. The hotel was clean enough and front of house staff were polite. The breakfast was nice and there was plenty on offer despite us arriving just before the buffet closed. The rooms do need curtains instead of netting, as these are not sufficient in blocking out early morning brightness!!. There is also little Privacy as the hotel next door can look directly into rooms. Hotel is clearly old but you can tell there has been some updates. The place is okay for short stays but maybe not not for longer ones.

This is the 2nd hotel we have stayed in Switzerland and we stayed here for one night. The hotel is located about 5-7mins walk from Tasch train station and there are a few restaurants and a mini-supermarket around. The hotel's external view gives one a B&B impression but upon entering, it's a hotel setup! And I am not sure why the hotel receives such a poor rating which I felt it's decent and good. Our room is at 307 (corner room). First, the room though simple structure and layout is nice and cosy. Bed is comfortable and there's a balcony where you can enjoy nature, mountains, lakes and nice scenery over a cup of coffee (though it is a common walk link with all the rooms next door). The TV has many channels and there's a TV channel guide which is good or you will need to spend time in searching for the channels you like to watch. The toilet is nice and got bathtub. The restaurant is nice and cosy and the breakfast spread is satisfactory. Foods were nice too. Service staff were friendly. In terms of areas of improvement, do note that there's only one lift and a small one. So for all the members of our tourgroup to get into our rooms, if we want to take the lift with luggages, it will take a long time. So we only load our luggages in the lift while we walk up the winding stairs. For most of us, the walk is ok though a little inconveniced. And there's no kettle provided in the room and cannot cook even cup noodles for fear in triggering the fire alarm which will fetch a 500 euros fine! The boss, Mr Chon, was very friendly and hospitable. He greeted all of us and even served us. When we left the hotel, he even boarded our coach personally and bid us goodbye! (he even brought the two of us around the entire hotel ground, including the buidling next door that is under renovation in improving it's facilities like constructing the spa, game room etc) Overall, our stay here was satisfactory and pleasant though there are hits and misses but I dont think it deserves a 1 or 2-star rating. It deserves a solid 3-star rating as rightfully awarded to it.

We came to Täsch, one station before Zermatt. Heard a lot abt this location and chose Hotel Elite, just walking distance from the station.

The horrible things started with they asking 1 Euro for 1 franc. Isn’t that cheating.

Then comes the time when we come up for breakfast and what an amazing spread. By amazing, I mean, horrible spread and most uncourteous staff. 

We were 11 of us and hunting for something in breakfast and asked for omelettes for 6 of us as all had not come down for breakfast by then.When the other 3 joined us and we asked for omelette, the person said “first finish the earlier omelettes and then I would give more.” 

Did they want 9 people to eat from 6 omelettes. Don’t we have a right to ask for one omelette each. The food timings are till 9.30am only. So, we didn’t have an option to wait beyond 9.30am as we knew the order won’t be taken later (looking at the courtesy being offered since the time we entered the hotel).
 When we asked for tea and tea bag, he rudely replied and took away the tea maker. This is a very insolent and impolite behaviour. And the final blow to us was no hot water for bath in a temperature of 11 degrees. 
I did give them a piece of my mind and informed them that whether it’s a 3 star or 5 star, we have to be courteous and the owner shud own up the responsibility for the wrong doings and rude behaviour of their staff, but in vain.

This is very unbecoming of a hotel which is one of the most pleasant towns in Switzerland.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone who visits this beautiful town of Täsch.

Typical Swiss hotel, warm welcome, clean and quiet room, close to the train station, surrounded by nature. The self-service breakfast is plentiful and good with local products. The restaurant is also typical and very good, also served self-service.

The hotel consists of two bodies. The dining room was in the one that did not correspond to our room. Since we were going on an excursion, we had dinner and breakfast included. The guide asked that we not all go at the same time. My friend and I waited about 10 minutes...when we arrived there were huge lines to get something...and we hardly ate. The food was running out and they weren't restocked. Regrettable. We went early for breakfast, but although we were able to have it, it was average. The room had egg yolk-colored bedspreads, without any taste. The bathroom was in the same room. The mattress was not good. The room did not have a nice view. Without a doubt I think it did not reach three stars. At most it was a two star Tasch is a budget location mainly for those who go skiing, because there is a train a few minutes away that takes you to Zermatt, which is one of the places where skiers go. It was not our case because we went in the middle of summer. The company did it to reduce costs. This place and hotel are better forgotten.
