Hubby & I stayed here two nights. I really liked the charm of this hotel! Also the ladies working here were so accommodating & friendly. The only two semi-downsides were the parking (there is none) & the stairs (no elevator). But…. That all contributed to the charm! We had a lovely room on the top floor with a nice bed & bathroom. The very cute bar/reception area on the ground floor was so fun to relax in. The hotel is a very easy (5 min) walk to the port if going to Tangier for the day. It’s also right in the center of everything - dining & shopping.

What a wonderful place to stay in Tarifa! I've stayed in 6 hotels during my 5 weeks in Spain and this was hands down the best and most enjoyable. The hostesses (Mariana, Charlotte, and Elena) and the owner/manger, Isabella, are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I had great conversations with each (and they helped me with my Spanish!) The property is immaculate. It seemed like it had only been opened the day I arrived. The room I was given was very attractively decorated with fabrics and tile that evoke the Muslim & Christian heritage of Spain. The common areas of hotel are attractive and inviting and frequently filled with guests and other tourists who happen by and decide to have a snack or beverage. The mattress was comfortable and I had lots of uber-comfortable pillows. The waterfall shower provided a refreshing start to each day. They serve a variety of breakfasts from simple beverages and breakfast bread to full on eggs with jamon or salmon. I am retired from the travel industry and can tell you this is a gem. You will not be disappointed. Lest there be any question, I have no connection with anyone at this property. These are my honest and enthusiastic opinions.

We had the best one night stay here. Boutique hotel with amazing bed and pillows. Towels, toiletries and bath robe included that you would expect in a 4 star plus. Friendly helpful staff. Fantastic massage at such a reasonable price. We can’t wait to return. Lovely breakfast. The hotel is full of character and love. The little things make it so special. Rooms are slightly in the small side but all so functional. We loved our room no 7 so will definitely be back.

This hotel is in a great location in Tarifa, in the city center and easy walking to restaurants and the beach. The staff was exceptionally warm and helpful. Our room was very nice, with a large comfortable bed. Our bathroom was large with all new furnishings. Breakfast was excellent, and the receptionists provided some great suggestions for restaurants.

We land our groups in a multitude of destinations to both birdwatch AND to immerse ourselves in the culture of any given area . It, consequently, made sense to secure lodging in the old city center of historic Tarifa. Posada la Sacrista is an intimate , relaxing and perfectly appointed 17th century building tucked into the folds of the maze that is old town. Staff was spot on 100% of the time… making dinner reservations and individual accommodations effortless. Each room was a treat in both comfort and decorating finesse . On the street level they present a small restaurant that flowed from an indoor dining room to small tables along the winding trail between buildings. Ideal for breakfast or afternoon glass of wine. I failed miserably in not getting names of all we had contact with but can note Elaina and Isabella are 5 star members of the team. Addition to those checking us out on our final day Heading to Tarifa? Do not miss this opportunity.

I cannot recommend Posada La Sacristia highly enough. As soon as we arrived we received a warm and friendly greeting. We were a little earlier so we’re invited to sit and have a coffee whilst our room was prepared. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was immaculate and decorated to a very high specification. A wonderfully comfortable bed, a rainforest shower, and spotlessly clean. Whenever we saw a staff member they smiled and acknowledged us. An amazing stay and I cannot wait to return.

We had the pleasure of staying at Posada La Sacristía in April. We loved the property and the staff. The hotel is comfortably charming, in a building dating to the 17th century (we think). Tasteful touches abound, from the moody candle-lit halls in the evening to the serene inner courtyard where breakfast and cocktails are served. While small, as one would expect in a hotel in this town, the rooms were comfortable, well tended and very clean. The staff were always responsive and kind, helping us muddle through our shameful lack of Spanish. The location is tucked around a somewhat-quiet corner in the heart of the old town. But visitors to Tarifa, especially during Holy Week, should come expecting a lively atmosphere rather than a reclusive retreat. Expect a beachy vibe throughout the town. We would return without hesitation.

Bellissima posada nel centro di Tarifa ma in una stradina tranquilla. Ambiente molto caldo e accogliente stanze piccoline ma molto ben arredate , letti comodi e belle lenzuola Grazie alla Signora Elena e alla Signora Belen il nostro soggiorno e’ stato ottimo Garage pubblico a pochi minuti a piedi
