I can't comment on the price, as we had this place booked via a travel agent as part of a package. The place was quite basic. No aircon. It is 7km from the township, with nowhere nearby to get food - although you do have the option of ordering dinner from a menu, which the hosts will then go and pick up. There are bicycles available to use for no extra cost. My main beef with this place was that I had emailed them before arrival to ask about mosquito nets - they advised that all of the room had mosquito nets fitted, then our room turned out to not have any. The windows has screens, but with fairly big gaps around the screen, where bugs could easily get in. The communal kitchen was good, the washing machine was very much appreciated.

Not value for money, Chillie friendly and helpful For 300 dollars a night tea,coffee facilities should have been provided Lounge suit no cushions and cane broken on the main seat , no dining facilities inside. TV but no signal. Dishes required washing before using Toilet not screwd to floor If i paid 100 dollars a night for this it would be too much

The property was very interesting and comfortable. And the shared bathroom and shower was very clean and comfortable. And the rate was very good 👍. The staff was very nice and friendly. It felt like a retreat from city life to nature.

On a scale of camping being one and the typical Hilton at 10, I would give this a two or three. Seems their good reviews are several years old Security safe, did not work, told owner, said he would fix, never did.

On the website the amenities do not mention no A/C. We were booked in the Coco bungalow & provided a fan that blew air but was damaged & dangled from the base. The heat & humidity was unbearable so we found rooms elsewhere & left. CHECK FOR A/C before you book.

Consider yourself warned Be warned. This place is not as described. First off, it is listed as being air-conditioned. IT IS NOT. Apparently some of the rooms are, but ours was not. It was sweltering, so uncomfortable that we left early because the room turned into an oven during the day. Second, it's isolated. If you don't have a car you are stuck with nowhere to walk for food. Third, they advertised "spa services". The only thing they have is a "masseuse" who showed up with no table or other supplies. The massage was in our sweltering room. My friend went first, and after seeing her experience I cancelled on the spot. She asked no less than 5 times for the woman to use more pressure, to no avail. It ended up being an oil rubdown, not a massage. Then there were other things, like the broken toilet seat that caused you to have to sit carefully to the side so as not to get your butt pinched in the crack. The window with no latch to close and fasten it to keep the mosquitos out. We had to stuff bedspreads around the window to try to keep the bugs out. The couch which is just a metal futon frame with no cushion. Really, this place was pretty awful.

We booked this pension based on pictures and reviews. The pictures were VERY out of date - the property has had poor attention to maintenance and no attention to improvements or upgrades. We were very disappointed in the overall condition and cleanliness of the property. We tried to enlist Patrice and Bruno's help with our exploration of the island and adjoining island Taha'a, but they were not interested in being helpful. It is a beautiful island, but we were very disappointed in the accommodations.

Propreté irréprochable 🧼 : sanitaires impeccables, linge soigné. Cuisine équipée & lave-linge 👩‍🍳 accessibles : très pratique pour préparer ses repas et faire sa lessive sans souci. Confort et équipements 🔌 : chambre spacieuse, terrasse agréable, accès wifi, ventilateur… tout est pensé pour un séjour relaxant.🌴 Accueil exceptionnel 🤗 : Cyrille et Bruno nous ont reçus avec une chaleur authentique. Ils connaissent très bien l’île et nous ont recommandé des activités sur mesure (vélo, kayak, excursion bleue, randos, jet‑ski…). Ambiance conviviale 🏡 : on se sent comme à la maison, dans un esprit écoresponsable (tri, panneaux solaires, produits locaux). ✅ Notre avis : excellent rapport qualité‑prix. Un séjour paisible avec tout le confort, des hôtes disponibles et bienveillants, et une variété d’excursions inoubliables.
