Iancu Charme Apartments

This is a stunning property close to some excellent restaurants and Isola Bella. Loft room had exceptional views, nice but small kitchen, and luxurious bathroom with high quality soaps, shampoos, etc. The abundant windows on both sides of the loft added to the beauty. It was difficult to leave! Parking was great to have on-property. It was an easy cable car ride up to Taormina. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend for couples.

We stayed in the Loft apartment. It was fabulous. The facilities were fantastic, the view amazing and the service from Carmelo was second to none. Although it was February and most of the local restaurants and shops were closed the apartment is close to the Cable car and busy bus. These run regularly until 7/8pm and cost very little. These will take you to Taormina which has a wide variety of restaurants and a little supermarket. Carmelo is a wonderful host and made our stay extra special with delivers of fresh bread rolls and croissants each morning. Perfecto.

We absolutely loved our stay here. This hotel is small so very quiet and charming. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have plenty of amenities. The views from the porch are breathtaking. I think we stayed in #6 which was on the top floor with a huge private front deck and a back deck (so you could always find shade any time of day). The bed was very comfortable and had a spacious bath. The hotel provided fresh croissants and rolls delivered right to your door every morning. The hot tub was clean and lovely. On site parking. A very short walk to the beaches, shops and cable car that take you to the top of Taormina. This was our favorite place to stay during our whole trip.

What a find! This accommodation exceeded expectations and nothing was too much trouble for Carmelo who looked after us. Spotlessly clean and fitted out with so much - wine and water and fruit on arrival plus a food goodie box that got refilled, nespresso machine, robes, beach bag & rugs, toothpaste - honestly the list is endless. Fresh croissants and rolls delivered to your door each morning. The pool was clean and just so peaceful and private. The two near by minimarkets were fully stocked and we just couldnt fault this accommodation at all! Have recommended it to so many already.

What can I say? It was perfect!!! As soon as we walked in we were blown away by the accommaodation. We had the loft apartment, and it was exceptional. The views from the terrace are breathtaking, and with the addition of a private hot tub we certainly were living the high life! It had a small kitchen area with kettle, fridge, crockery, cutlery, etc. We would have liked a toaster, but that is a minor, personal, preference. The bathroom is lovely, and has enough storage for clothes, and a small safe. The terrace is HUGE!! And the views from it are spectacular. You can chill out in your hot tub whilst looking out to sea. We got up early one morning to watch the sunrise from our terrace, and it was stunning. The accommodation was spotless. The cleaners came in every day, and they went above and beyond what was expected. They not only cleaned the room, changed the bedding and towels etc, but they also immaculately folded the few items of clothing we had left laying around. Every time we walked back into our room, after they had cleaned it, it was spotless. Carmelo, the owner, is very helpful, and replies very quickly to messages. He arranged transfers for us to and from the accommodation. The little extra touches were lovely: a bottle of prosecco (it was our honeymoon), fresh fruit, water, juice, fresh croissants and rolls every day, and snacks, as well as the usual tea, and coffee. The pool is lovely, and very welcome in the Sicilian heat. It has sunbeds and parasols, and a very nice bathroom. The location is great. It is in Mazzaro, which is just a cable car ride away from Taormina town. The whole area is beautiful. There are amazing views, and there is something to see around every corner. We liked being in Mazzaro as we were able to walk to the beach of Isola Bella, which was a 5 minute walk away. But then in the evening we could take the short ride to town, on the cable car. The road outside the accommodation, and most of the roads around it, do not have pavements, so you are walking on the road. So just take extra care with that. Other than that it is perfect!
