Tannum Sands Hotel / Motel

I stayed at the Tannum sands pub week on week off on FIFI work, been off for a few months due to injury. I used to enjoy going in after work for a few cold ones and a press, the gaming attendant jo was one of the most efficient and hardest workers I've seen in a long time, her customer service was out standing to say the least, i was taken by surprise when she said she wasn't one of the management team, especially after seeing and interacting with the so called management that does work there like the old lady who should have retired years ago!!! extremely rude individual that one. Recently returned for work only to find she no longer works there. The gaming room has gone down hill along with the customer service!! you guys lost a gem when you lost Jo. Have recommended to my company that we all now stay elsewhere!! GET HER BACK!!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting Barra special the fish smelled and tasted really fishy and was so rubbery served with dry boiled potatoes and all yours for the bargain price of $35 …. Stick to parmys. No refund offered even though inedible, should not be served at all.

We went here for lunch on the last day of our holidays - very disappointed to say the least. The menu was average as it is in most pubs these days, and the specials board offered a few different options so we chose the slow cooked lamb shanks with mash and green beans. $30 was a bit expensive for what we got, a small plate with a fairly fatty lamb shank, smothered in a tomato sauce which wasn't mentioned on the blackboard, a few green beans and a bit of mash. Was it worth the price? No. Would we return again? No. Very disappointing indeed.

Room with a lovely view, clean, coffee and tea, also cereal provided in room too ,as well as bottled water, suited our needs , driving or walking distance to beach, restaurant meal was excellent at hotel, staff very friendly and Coles supermarket was 2 minutes walk from our stay

Excellent, nothing more that I could say. Room & Bedding, comfortable. Perfect position in Tannum Sands handy to all conveniences and so quiet. Staff friendly, anything needed was no problem. Meals, top quality. My 3 night stay was a pleasure. Thankyou so much. I am coming up again in May.

This place is rough it’s 2023 why don’t you have a makeover or a renovation it needs lots of love. Inside the bistro area you are sitting under a circus tent that if you look up it’s covered in mound. The salad bar is unclean and leaking water and if you sit outside to take in the view you are sitting next to a smokers area full of bogans puffing and drinking and it’s outside the gaming room. The sports bar area is full of fluro bogan tradies who love to swear and tell people we are locals. The place needs a good pressure wash and little bit of class, It’s not a quaint country pub but it’s not a costal pub it’s just rough, ohh and the toilets user beware. We couldn’t eat here it’s not clean enough and we felt like we needed security to watch our car and us. No thanks definitely not our thing.
