This hostel was amazing! The staff were all so kind and helpful. Great location, grocery store right down the street if needed, amazing rooms (with AC), best kitchen space, amazing pool. Lots of experiences offered. We did surfing and loved it. My boyfriend and I loved it here and would 100% book again!!

First time hostel experience and couldn’t have asked for anything better! The staff were very friendly and were helpful when you had any questions or concerns. The rooms get cleaned every day mostly and the facilities were always clean. The pool and the hammocks made the stay nice and cozy and also refreshing as the heat in Costa Rica is no joke! The location is perfect because it’s not noisy at all and still close to downtown. I stayed in a private and on my last day stayed in a shared bunk room. To be honest staying in the bunks would have been fine all along. The curtains give you enough privacy and generally if you need to use the washroom there is another washroom in the kitchen area if yours in your room is in use. No shower there though but that didn’t bother me. There are storage lockers and you just need your own lock and they are quite spacious.

This place is simple and what you ask for a simple hotel/Hostel. Stuff is very friendly and extremely helpful, esp. when I needed help for airport shuttle. They treated you as friend and help you all they can. Simple room and common kitchen area. Real budget option and I felt good staying. If you want to spend some time in Tamarindo, I would recommend for young travellers or one/several nights layover before catching flight back home. Thanks Jeronimo!

The stay was terrible. The front desk staff had absolutely no sense of customer service—just a bunch of young Argentine guys who acted like we were begging for handouts rather than paying customers. I would never stay at that place again, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it. There were far too many rowdy young people making noise, and the atmosphere was filled with smoke and alcohol. No thank you! Never again.

Great place! A 5 minutes walk from the center. They provide a towel and (free) wonderful coffee from a local farmer. Lovely pool to cool down. My sheet was way too loose around my matras and went off the whole time. Famous taco’s at Little Lucie 2 minutes walk away. I would come back for sure!

The staff are not at all friendly or helpful. Right when I arrived, one of the employees asked me for a cigarette and I was dismissed whenever I asked a question or for recommendations in town. There was no hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen. Our room was advertised as a "five-bed private room" but was really just two bunk beds with extra mattresses shoved underneath them. There were five of us staying in the room but we were only given one key. There was evidence of bedbugs (red stains in the corners of the comforter) but none of us got bites and the sheets and mattress appeared new. My friend stepped in human feces when using the public restroom late at night. Of course this isn't really the fault of the staff or management, but it lets you know what kind of place you're dealing with. Oh, and they agreed to hold onto our bags only if we left a review for them. So here you go, Botella de Leche. I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons or anything, but Jesus.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff is all so helpful! The surf instructors are amazing! It is close to everything you need! And very social compared to other hostels I have stayed at! Will definitely be back if I find myself in Tamarindo again!

The hostel was a great vibe especially at the time. The room we were in was honestly perfect. The staff were cool especially when surfing, which was the most exciting part. You learn how to surf and become a better surfer. We became good friends with all the people in the resort. Tamarindo is a very beautiful town. Honestly the Hostel was at its peak during this time, I miss it a lot. Thanks for the memories.
