L'Avventura Boutique Hotel

We booked directly through La Ventura's website based on the photos and description, but unfortunately the reality did not match our expectations. The biggest issue was that the room was much smaller than it appeared in the photos and felt quite claustrophobic. The property itself also felt very different from the atmosphere presented online. What looked like a lush, charming outdoor space was mostly artificial grass, and the common areas felt empty and uninviting. The location is also worth mentioning. While the beach is technically within walking distance, it is a much longer walk than we expected, especially in the heat. When we contacted management immediately after arrival to express our concerns, we felt our feedback was dismissed rather than acknowledged. We were told the photos had been professionally done and that no refund would be considered. This review is simply to help future guests set realistic expectations. Our experience was that the property looked significantly better in the photos than it did in person, and the customer service response added to our disappointment. We could not stay in this place and went to look for another one.

LOVED the pool and the room. It was 12/10. Absolutely perfect. The only downside would be that there was no drinkable water onsite. We had to go and buy some everyday.

I encourage any couples or people who enjoy a spotless, quiet spot, within 5mns of the hustle and bustle of what Tamarindo offers to stay at L'Avventura. My wife and I spent 2 days and nights there recently and were more then pleasantly suprised with how great the building is, how convenient the location is, and how great the communication is with the owners and their team. I would not hesitate to stay there again when we head back to Costa Rica. Its that nice. Really can't complain about anthying to be honest. Wildlife outside your doors (we had a Howler Monkey dangling from a tree our first morning within steps of the front door), beautiful sight lines and an amazingly clean, modern and stylish unit. Great restaurants and grocery stores within a 5-10mns walk down the hill/streets.

There was a beautiful view, it was nice to have breakfast out on the porch. The staff was very responsive.

Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and helpful, and everything went smoothly. Would definitely stay again.

The unit is close to town , left the car in the parking lot nearly the whole stay , Nice walk into town provided views of Gecko’s and Howeler monkeys about 4 min walk , Town has lots of energy , Tons of restaurants, Location had a great pool and private resort like feeling , large fridge and well stocked kitchen , Large bed , Great communication with host .

We had the pleasure of spending time at this amazing place, and we must say the experience exceeded all expectations. Dino and Maria (hosts) actually live in one of the apartments and were incredibly pleasant and always helpful, creating a genuine family feel without being intrusive. The apartments are designed with irresistible elegance, and our stay was truly enhanced by the luxurious atmosphere. The serene and pleasant common area provided the perfect space to unwind and savor the moments. The location is ideal, centrally located yet peaceful, and the saltwater pool is a true gem. The saktesteke pool offered us the relaxing sensation of an exclusive resort right in the heart of the city. We look forward to returning to this hidden paradise on our next occasion. Thank you for a brilliant experience!
