The room is OK, the landlord can arrange a drop-off at the airport, 7 pounds. It’s a bit early to check out.

We (family of 5) stayed in the family room as we had an early flight from Stansted in the morning. We emailed Julie with our arrival time and she had everything prepared for us including an additional camping bed in the room. We were greeted warmly and showed around our and the breakfast room. Julie even went as far to place boy/girl napkins on the table for us which was very sweet. The room itself was lovely - large enough for 5 of us and our luggage. Beds were comfy and we had good hot water and biscuits/hot drinks. The location is perfect for Stansted, it took us less than ten minutes to get to the Mid Stay car park but note that if you're in the Long Stay it's a longer journey. Another advantage is that they will let you park your car on-site for a small fee, and you can then taxi to and from the airport which is only a few minutes (we will definitely do this next time as it's considerably cheaper than the airport car parks). Breakfast was amazing - since we left early we weren't that hungry but they had a huge variety of cereals, bread/crumpets, yoghurts, drinks, cereal bars, cheese, fruit ... the list goes on. Price was also very affordable especially for larger families as we could book a single room vs. having to book two (most places are max. occupancy of four). Many thanks and hope to see you soon!

Great location as i was looking for an accommodation near Stansted Airport. There is plenty of parking space on-site (although the price could be cheaper for overnight stay). The hotel undergone refurbishment recently so the bar and restaurant areas are looking fresh and revamped. I had an evening meal following a busy day of client's meeting, and was reasonably priced for the amount of food when comparing with other restaurants in the area. The room i was provided was massive compared with standard rooms from other hotel chains, so i was really pleased!

Hotel is very close to the airport, but note that the hotel shuttle is 4 pounds (what happened to the days of this service being free? 😭). Staff was a bit of a mixed bag. I was checked in by a rather miserable person, but check-out was polite and friendly. My room said a king bed, but I don't know if UK bed sizes are different, but it was more like a double. Room appeared clean, but I did find some hairs in the sheets that didn't belong to me and one of my pillows looked a little suspect. Fine stay for just a night when you need to be near the airport. Vegan options available for meals, although I didn't eat at the hotel.

Great Lodge is close to the airport (58 mins walking or 14 mins by bus). I wanted a place in nature, and I was served : multiple public footpaths and hiking trail (see picture). The room was clean, spacious and warm. Didn't have soap or conditioner as mentioned, but I didn't need them since I had mine. Check-in and check-out were easy (a person was at the front desk). Hotel is in perfect location 5mins from terminal, book in and out really quick good service,room very good clean and amenities really good and breakfast really good everything you could want for a good start to the day

When you arrive the hotel looks very good. The room are a little bit old and for this reason doesn’t appear clean (at least is clean). For example in the bathroom there is a lot of limescale. Great position if you arrive late at Stansted airport or if you leave early in the morning. The breakfast is good, not the best one that I seen, but I liked it: complete and everything clean at the breakfast room. It’s a good solution for staying one night without any particular expectation.
