Renovated in 2014, Kazeya overlooks the majestic Hida mountain range, and offers public and private hot spring-baths. The quiet ryokan features authentic Japanese architecture, spacious rooms with a Japanese interior and free WiFi, while facilities include a garden and free-use bicycles. Free parking is on site.
Guests at Kazeya can unwind in public hot-spring baths or a hot public bath, while 3 types of private hot-spring are also available free of charge. Massages can be arranged. The ryokan offers luggage storage, and it has drinks vending machines.
Rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor, a low table with seating cushions and either Western beds or Japanese futon bedding. All rooms offer garden and mountain views, and come with a private bathroom. They’re fitted with a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a safe.
Kazeya is a 10-minute drive from the Shin-Hodaka Ropeway Station, and a 1-hour drive from Takayama Station. The property is a 2-minute walk from bus stop Shin-Hodaka Onsenguchi.
A one-dish dinner is available upon request, which will be complemented by several side dishes. Although the main dish is selected by the chef, guests can order hida-beef as their main at an extra cost. Guests can also choose to reserve a hida-beef full course meal at a charge.

在小紅書上被安利的去新穗高的路上最佳温泉''酒店''！
距離新穗高纜車坐大巴衹有十幾分鍾，坐完纜車回來吃個晚餐泡個温泉簡直不要太爽了～～
超級傳統日式複式樓房也是被我體驗到了！而且因為去的時候人不多，泡私湯泡得非常舒服！
裏面的工作人員都是笑容滿面，服務也超級好～！不會日語也沒事，他們英語可以溝通！還會説幾句中文哈哈！！如果定了早晚餐，會叫我下樓吃晚餐/早餐，是非常好吃的日式傳統飯菜！
我加了beef套餐，不愧是來高山必吃的飛騨牛肉。。強烈推薦！
房間很大，設施齊全，很適合來度假～！走的時候非常捨不得TvT

This is a difficult place to review. It is I think a real Japanese onsen experience for a very reasonable price. The staff were consistently helpful, though sometimes not present and sometimes a little challenged by language barriers (but that's my fault not theirs). I specified a Japanese style room and was delighted with the size, though less so with the comfort of a futon bed (again my choice and to be expected). There are two public baths and two private. The latter are very cleverly not bookable but simply available if the key is present and not if in use and the key has been taken. In addition there is a library where you can sit and work or correspond in comfort. Meals are basic and *very* Japanese. The kaiseki dinner was probably worth it at the price. Breakfast is a real challenge as it is 100% Japanese. I'd say every non-Japanese (and this was the majority) pecked at a little and left most. I know this is a real onsen experience, but I think a simple western option would be welcomed. There are literally no other restaurants or hotels nearby and no lunch is offered so come prepared or take a day trip up the mountain.

Ryokan con onsen propio con unas habitaciones espciosas. El menú de la cena muy bueno. El desayuno del primer dia demasiado japonés para lo que estamos acostumbrados (sopa de miso...). El segundo día mejor. El personal muy amable. El onsen tiene una parte privada interior y exterior y hay otra parte pública con onsen interior y exterior también.
