Kasbah Tiriguioute

This hotel built in a kashbah is stunning. The gardens with ample orange trees and flowers, the swimming pool, the wooden furniture, the terraces, ... all contribute to a relaxed atmosphere that gives you a great luxury feeling. In addition, the friendly, attentive staff, and the nice breakfast and dinner make this place ideal for your stay.

I’d had to tweak our stay in order to fit in even one night in Skoura, and my only regret is that I couldn’t fit in two at this utterly magical, enchanting kasbah. It’s even lovelier in real life than in the pictures. The only problem is deciding which charming nook, table, shady bench or rooftop vantage point you are going to choose to relax in. Around every corner of both the garden and the building is a new, eye-catching architectural or decorative detail. The garden is gorgeous - in late October it was laden with pomegranates which we were welcome to pick, and with oranges which appeared, freshly squeezed, at the breakfast table. Oh, and the mint tea and home-made snacks which welcomed us were absolutely delicious, as was all the freshly prepared and very generous food we were served. Dinner wasn’t automatically included in our booking but I highly recommend you add it. The rooms were very comfortable and attractive, and the bathrooms lovely - plenty of hot water. Decent wifi, too. The pool and pool area were also great - sadly, we arrived too late in the day to take full advantage, but when I dipped a foot in the water it didn’t seem unreasonably cold haha. The staff were friendly and accommodating and did everything to make our stay wonderful. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place.

Durante il nostro tour del Marocco, partiti da Marrakech con destinazione Merzouga, abbiamo deciso di sostare una notte in questa stupenda Kasbah. Nel bel mezzo del nulla, dopo km e km di paesaggio spettacolare, roccioso, talvolta lunare e arido, questa è stata la nostra oasi di pace e relax. Ci è sembrata un'illusione, considerato tutto il paesaggio al di fuori, e invece era tutto vero. Quando siamo arrivati e si è aperto il portone, non credevamo ai nostri occhi. Giardino stupendo sul davanti con zona piscina, di cui non abbiamo usufruito, ma che sembrava molto ristoratrice. La struttura all'interno grande, con tantissimi ambienti, rustica ma arredata con vero gusto marocchino. Il responsabile/proprietario ci ha accolti sorridente e ci ha gentilmente offerto una delle suite perché ha detto che aveva pochi prenotati. È stata un graditissima attenzione. Come non menzionare il solito tea di benvenuto con biscottini e arachidi tostate... volendo c'era anche la possibilità di cenare, ma non ne abbiamo usufruito. Stupendo anche il giardino sul retro, con in fondo alcune simpaticissime pecorelle e galline e pulcini. Stanza che era un appartamento con materasso e doccia super confortevoli. Riposato divinamente dal tanto silenzio che c'era. Anche la colazione non ha tradito le aspettative. Una delle migliori! Unica pecca, accettano solo contanti, ma ci avevano avvisati prima.
