The hotel is spacious and amazing for family. It is situated in a very lovely neighbourhood with 15mins walk to night market and eateries. The 101 view is superb too!

Very pleasant stay overall in a Horizon Club room. The service at the Horizon Club lounge in particular was excellent throughout- Joyce, Beatrice and Anita the lovely ladies who made sure every visit to the lounge is delightful. The complimentary breakfasts, afternoon tea and happy hours at Horizon Club added much value to the stay! Great view of Taipei 101 from room too image attached.

Overall, our experience was quite positive regarding cleanliness, location, and amenities. We spent 3 nights on the 31st floor. However, I was disappointed with the hair dryer; it was outdated and did not function well, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The location of the hotel was fantastic and the room was really nice. Had a nice view. I would like to visit here once again

We recently stayed at the Shangrila Far Eastern in Taipei in one of their family rooms, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. It brought back such fond memories, as my wife and I stayed here over 20 years ago, and it’s heartwarming to see that the hotel continues to uphold its high standards. The family room was spacious, modern, and perfectly suited for our family. The kids loved having their own space, and the thoughtful touches in the room made it a comfortable retreat for all of us. The hotel's location is fantastic, offering easy access to the city's main attractions. Whether we were out exploring or enjoying the stunning views from the hotel, everything felt effortless. It was nostalgic and special to return here, and we loved watching our kids enjoy the same level of service and luxury we did all those years ago. The memories we've made this time, as a family, will surely last a lifetime. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a mix of luxury, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Best service, most caring staff with a professional manner. Highly recommend it to any friends who travel to Taipei. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Taipei and I will continue to stay here every time I come here. Clean, spacious rooms, great varieties of food at the restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at shangrila, food, service and amenities were all excellent. Definitely will stay here again next time we are in Taiwan.

A very well maintained hotel, clean and in good condition. It's near a night market, and has lots of other restaurants nearby. The room was spacious, stayed in a two twin room, but the beds were more like full size. I requested the beds to be put together but due to the layout of the room, they could not. There was a shower and bathtub. The rooftop also has great views of Taipei, Taipei 101, and SongShan airport and mountains in the distance. I also received two apples as welcome fruit. The hotel could use some updates (e.g. automated sinks and toilets) otherwise a very pleasant short stay.

Very festive decorations at lobby for Christmas. Check in was easy and quick. Room was clean with all toiletries provided, spacious too! Location wise not that near the metro station but was easy to travel around using Uber. Pool was good with a lap pool and separate jacuzzi pool which heated water, great Taipei 101 view from pool area. Housekeeping service was hit and miss at some points though overall service was excellent ! Will recommend staying here

Nice view in a nice room, however my stay was severely flawed: X location. There is no nearby convenience stores or much food places in the surroundings. The adjoining mall is extremely niche to say the least. X delayed check in. Arrived at 545 pm but only got the room almost to 7 due to some system issue. X staff provide preferential treatment to Caucasians. XXX you can hear the sound of the lift from the room as they move up and their shafts. X deposit of 4000 twd per night.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel, the staff here are very friendly and professional.
